This was one of those times that I needed a tool and it appeared on AppSumo. Initial excitement did not last.

This is one of those times I wish AppSumo's Select team had tested a bit more.

On the surface, it looks like there is potential, especially because of the cost saving compared to the high prices of other influencer search tools.

Unfortunately, once you get into it, you realise four things:
1) The database is has lots of Instagram and YouTube accounts that are not even close to influencers. It appears just to be a random selecting of accounts that have more than x number of subscribers.
2) The search is very limited, even after today's update, and returns mostly irrelevant results. When used in combination with filters, you get get a lot less of those irrelevant results.
3) The team seem to not care, support is horribly slow and just deflecting. There is no recognition that this product has major issues with search and results. The 'major' update today was mainly a UI change.
4) With YouTube, influencer results are much easier, quicker and better using YouTubes own search.

I doubt I would continue using this even if it were free (hence the 1 star).Time is better spent and resutls are more accurate with other search tools.

Given the above and lack of care from support, I do not see any chance of this making it with MRR.

Not much more to say. Not worth the time, let alone the money.
