I'm less interested in one-click generating book fluff and more interested in an environment with a nice text editor and "ai assisted writing" and "ai editing + ai suggestions + grammar suggestions" while having more control over the writing process. I'd be more interested in being able to highlight a section of a chapter or even a single sentence and chat with the ai about improving it. Or start writing a book from scratch and chatting with the ai to continue it and what direction/structure to take it in. Knowing this, would this be a good software for me or is this more focused on one-click and less human interaction? Thanks

Beyond one-click generation there's a full editor where you highlight any sentence or section and tell the AI what to do with it (improve, expand, shorten, change the tone, or fix grammar and spelling), and it rewrites just that selection for you to accept or redo.
You can also start a chapter from scratch and have it continue from where you left off in the direction you specify. It works as select-and-instruct rather than a running chat window, but it gives you that sentence-level control over the writing, not just hands-off generation.
