InkfluenceAI is a useful drafting tool, but I would not consider it a finished-publication tool.
After testing it across several different ebook styles, I found that it can produce a lot of usable material quickly. It handled a business-focused technology guide, a faith-grounded relationship guide, a fictional sci-fi story, and an AI adoption playbook with enough structure and flow to be genuinely helpful as a starting point.
The strongest part of the platform is speed. It can take a basic idea and turn it into a full-length draft with chapters, introductions, takeaways, and a consistent general direction. Some of the output was better than expected, especially when the topic was clearly framed and the desired tone was specific.
That said, the results still require careful human review. In one case, internal drafting instructions appeared inside the finished ebook, which is a serious quality-control issue. Some sections were also repetitive, overly generic, or needed stronger editing to sound less AI-generated. The tool can create volume, but it does not reliably produce polished, client-ready work without oversight.
My honest view is that InkfluenceAI is good for outlines, first drafts, idea expansion, and getting unstuck. It is not something I would trust to publish directly without reading every page. Used correctly, it can save time. Used carelessly, it could create embarrassing mistakes.
Overall, I would give it 3 out of 5. It has real value as a drafting assistant, but it still needs human judgment, editing, and quality control before the work is ready for public use.

Jun 22, 2026Thanks for such a thoughtful, detailed review, Dave, this is genuinely useful feedback.
You've framed it fairly: Inkfluence is built to take you from blank page to a structured full draft fast, with a human edit pass to bring it to publication standard.
The drafting instructions showing up inside your export isn't meant to happen, if you can send the book or topic to [email protected] we'll get it sorted, and we're continually tightening both output quality and the AI-generated feel.
Really appreciate you putting it through its paces across that many genres
Sam
