Q: Account Email Questions - 1.
If a person signs up for Inprivy using their primary email address (e.g., "mak@myemail.com"), is this email ever revealed to anyone else, such as the recipient of a secret or team members? Specifically, can external recipients or internal team members view the account owner's email address?
I have a use case for both personal and business purposes. Before creating an account with my email address, I would like to know if the account owner's email is ever disclosed to external recipients (third parties) or internally to team members. For example, if someone signs up with a personal email like "mak@gmail.com" or a business email like "mak@business1.com" or "mak@business2.com."
2. Can an account owner email address be changed in the future if we need to change it? For example if we used a personal account email address but have decided to use our business email address instead for the account.

May 31, 2024A: Your email address is never visible to external recipients. However, when creating a team, members with access to the team list can see all email addresses of team members.
Please note though that secrets, that are created within the backend, need to be send manually to recipients. You will get a link you can share. InPrivy currently does not provide a way to automatically send secrets to recipients. This is planned, though.
As for your second question, you can change your email address whenever you want. This can be done directly in the account settings.
