Lets say I have 30 domain setup at a single time so I will not be able to add anymore. But if I remove 5 of them, I can add 5 new. Is this correct? This is how elements work? Or one domain setup means I have lost one element for a year?

You may add and remove elements at any time and you will recover the spot to add a new one.
cname is automatically setup :) no need to reach out via email.
