It's useful, but could use a few upgrades

I almost dumped this platform when I couldn't get most of my spreadsheets to import. Turns out it doesn't work with Google Shared Drive. The GSheet file needs to be in "My Drive".
So that was a learning curve. Maybe I missed the onboarding tutorial on that one - if there is one.
Overall, it's a nice tool to have, once you actually learn how to use it.
The various chart types, their detailed styling features, and embedding capabilities are all very contributive to report building.
A couple features that would be nice and make it 5 tacos:
1. Import from / sync with Shared Drive files - obviously.
2. Being able to create different charts from one datasheet - rather than having to import it again, separately.
3. Filtering data - so that it can sync with certain time frames and omit others.

Hello!
First thanks for using InstaCharts and taking the time to leave us a review. I really appreciate it.
You're right; InstaCharts is a little light on the onboarding tutorials. Maybe we will add some in the new year along with videos showing new users how to use the platform.

Other than tutorials, I am hoping to turn your 4 taco ๐ŸŒฎ review into a 5 taco review.
1. Shared Drive Files not working: โœ… Another AppSumo user pointed this out to our team in September and a fix was put in place. Feel free to give it another try - email me at bart@instacharts.io if you experience any issues.
2. Multiple charts from the same spreadsheet: โœ… You can add a new chart or duplicate the current chart using the Sheet menu in the top menu bar. Here is a docs page with a screenshot: https://instacharts.io/docs/sheets/add-chart/ Maybe an onboarding tutorial or a UI change will make this menu's location more obvious. I can see how it can appear hidden.
3. Filtering data: โœ… You can set multiple basic filters per column on the Data tab that will filter out data that appears in the current chart. Our team is internally discussing adding a range selection like in Excel, so you can select the rows that are important to you for charting. Let me know if there is a different way you were thinking of filtering the data.

Once again, thanks for giving us a review (I hope we earned ๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŒฎ) and please feel free to reach out if you have any more feedback!
