I do a lot of pitching. When you're staring at a list of 50 - 200 email addresses that need to be personalized and sent with the same content... PLUS 2 rounds of follow-ups, it's enough to make a grown woman cry.

When I came upon Instantly, I refused to get excited - I've been burned by the "too good to be true" Bug before. I took the leap and within an hour had set up the account, linked it to my Gmail, created a two-email campaign, uploaded emails and WOW! It worked!

Pros:
- I love the fact that you can warm the list first
- analytics show you who opened to your emails
- the ability to stop the campaign when someone replies (sending a follow-up to someone who's said, yes? Awkward!)
- can set advanced conditions (e.g. if a person opens the email, send a follow-up a day sooner than for those who don't open the email)
- ability to schedule days and times when emails are sent
- it comes straight from your email (vs. an outside system); responses will also come into your email (don't need to log into another system to read responses)
-SUPER simple UI

The BEST Pro:
- SUPPORT!!! When I first started, my emails were showing as coming from "contact" (vs. my name). This was a HUGE no, no, especially since I'm sending cold emails. No one opens an email from "contact." It was a Friday afternoon and I contacted support via chat (fully expecting a "yeah, right, we'll get back to ya sometime next week" kinda response) and TIM hopped on! I'm not kidding, Tim worked on this bug for HOURS... did I mention it was a Friday afternoon? He was so kind, and determined to find and fix the issue. I felt heard and supported. Well, we FINALLY figured it out (coding issue with the draft emails)! Tim literally did the coding while we were on the chat to fix the issue. The support alone is worth more than the price of admission.

Cons:
- honestly, I sat here for 5 minutes trying to think of one and I can't! That may change, but for now, it does what it says beautifully. I guess if I HAD to choose one, I would say it's the fact that you can't switch email accounts once you link the software during activation. The only reason this is a con is because if you're moving too fast and activate the software using your AppSumo email address but want to send emails from another address, you can't change it. This is less of a con and more of a caution for purchasers.
