Q: Can you explain the discrepancy?

I’m a bit confused. In a statement responding to a negative review you say, “we've spent millions over the past six years in developing the platform and are used daily by Fortune 500 companies with tens of thousands of Sumolings as well, as the largest of the warm contact influencer networks.” But you only have 22 reviews on AppSumo and 50% of them are negative.
Please help me understand this discrepancy: why do the same negative issues keep appearing in the reviews? I would like more clarity about this strong statement and the claimed number of Sumolings compared with the weak and very low review count. This significantly reduces trust.
In your opinion, why do the same negative comments recur regarding influencer quality, alleged payment scams, and the low number of reviews despite allegedly having tens of thousands of AppSumo customers?

A: According to our records, over 23,000 Sumolings have redeemed this offer to-date. It's not uncommon for reviews to skew towards issues, and the vast majority of time this occurs before the user has contacted our friendly customer service team to let them try and offer a resolution. Our platform offers brands a lot of flexibility and influencer marketing can be very dynamic, so sometimes there can be frustrations when expectations aren't aligned with budget, influencer compensation requirements, etc. Additionally, we do not pay for positive reviews. Instead, we welcome constructive feedback, and are quick to address issues and accommodate our brands and influencers as reasonably as possible. I hope this provides some clarity.
