A: Hey thanks for reaching out! We built the dataset by combining lists of dozens of datasets and public directories (think AngelList), then cleaned & matched data, then enriched on top. I'm not sure about syntiq's dataset specifically actually, but it doesn't look like they have the same breadth of categorization as us.
