Impressed so far
As I have a fairly large library of photos on my topic, I wanted to use them for short social media video slideshows. To that end, I've been testing out various odds and ends of software I have ended up with over the years (Photoshop, Sony Movie Studio, PowerPoint) plus the newer online offers (Lumen5, Filmora, Wave, Animoto). So far, and to be fair I haven't finished with projects on some of those I listed, InVideo is the leader in the clubhouse for ease of use and speed combined with acceptable quality.
Of them all I found it the most intuitive and I am not, at the moment, too bothered about the stock images and videos.
I am very used to seeing the Adobe-style image and shape editing tools, so initially it feels a bit naked with the limited amount of editing you can do on the templates. However, I'm sure that once I get more used to it I will discover more features and workarounds.
What I would like to see in the future:
i) ability to upload your own files to create custom lower thirds and header drop-ins across projects (I prefer minimalist design rather than the flashy retro stuff on so many templates)
ii) ability to save your own templates for reuse on particular social media pages/web promotion
iii) color dropper tool for changing template colours
But so far, very good.
