This is Antoine, co-founder of Isla!

I started building Isla with my co-founder Romeo when we reached the point of no return with our respective business chat apps, Slack and Microsoft Teams. We were going through a lot of frustration at work dealing with constant interruptions and unstructured requests all day, and we needed to do something about it.

As productive individuals, we want to stay focused while working and ensure we receive relevant and actionable requests at the best time. We also want to respect everyone's workflows and have a neutral place to discuss, integrated with each party's productivity stack.

More than that, when it comes to formulating requests, we also want to find out who, in growing companies/communities, holds the relevant knowledge to support us in our work without polluting the whole ecosystem.

We started to build Isla to bring all of this to you.

Isla is a centralized inbox for individuals and teams only filled with structured work requests. Easily create and share request types you can handle (like tickets) so people get to you the way you want, and feel free to create an async discussion below each request. You can easily integrate incoming requests with your favorite organizational tools and calendars to fit your daily habits.
