I just finish my virtual meeting with Romeo, and the way this company approach internal communication is very innovative. My Golden Taco is for the TEMPLATES feature, where you can create different type of work request, to address many use cases, is really useful and divide the time spent to make stuff done, quicker. I think at this price, it is more than a steal, and this tool should be in your stack, as a long term investment.

I'll preface this by saying that I had a great video call with Romeo, the dev over at Isla today. Great guy, very happy with his product, and very invested in making it best in class.
Isla is the Zendesk successor you always hope will land on appsumo but never does. All the ticket/support/request deals I've found on Appsumo have lacked one thing or another, have been plain ugly, been abandoned or cost a fortune.
Isla is none of those things, and I finally have an excellent way to start dragging my support business out of email and into a useful, accountable, improved system.
I'm absolutely stoked to have found Isla and expect to integrate it fully once I can embed it into my site.
Getting in Early and Hoping to Use This as an Alternative to Zendesk as a Freelancer
I'm thinking about embedding this into my email signature/website/social media to structure support inquiries from my clients. So far the application looks very well polished and the development team seems to be continuously making improvements to this software. One request would be to perhaps integrate with Plutio if possible because a lot of us Appsumo customers use that as opposed to Trello, etc.
Isla gives a structured way to receive the requests and respond to them in a clean and minimalistic manner all in a single dashboard, this is a huge time saver and hope the team looks into provided filter for sorting the requests by user and by default show the completed requests as well instead of being hidden and the filter option is unchecked, look into having the template embed and the ability to be used within the WordPress itself without having the users create a full-fledged account on isla, The good thing is the founder is very open to feedback. All the best with the launch.
I took it out of curiosity, because the possibility of making work easier, saving time, and automating what is possible is always tempting. After all, the price is very small.
I think the tool will really come in handy. I can see that the development team is working to improve the tool, asking questions from users and taking into account their comments.
If the developers fulfill everything they promise. I think you will have a very useful tool for the lowest price possible.
