Q: Any updates on removing the backlink to the iubenda home page in the privacy policy?
Or, at least making it NoFollow?
I understand the need to link to the iubenda privacy policy bc iubenda is hosting our privacy policy, but the extra link to the iubenda home page is a bit unnecessary, isn’t it? (Or, at least give us the option to make it NoFollow or DoFollow instead of forcing it on us.)
Also, it seems like many of the links in the cookie policy are NoFollow, so making the extra homepage backlink NoFollow should be possible - but, correct me if I’m wrong.

If you don’t want people to know you’ve used a generator, there are a few simple settings to make use of when preparing your privacy policy for inclusion on your site that will remove iubenda’s branding to the extent possible (no reference will be made to the fact that the policy has been generated).

However the wording “iubenda hosts this page and collects some personal data about users” cannot be removed from the privacy and cookie policies generated with our online service because iubenda itself is configured as a third-party service integrated into your website or app and, as such, by law must be mentioned.
nionHi Elisa, I completely understand needing to include the “iubenda hosts this form” disclaimer. What I’m asking about is removing the hyperlink to the iubenda homepage (or making it NoFollow) - so the disclaimer is still there and the link to the iubenda privacy policy is still there (just that the hyperlinks are NoFollow)
There's not a way to remove the link at the moment, I'm sorry. However, the direct text embedding version via API doesn't have that text so you can opt in to using that if you like. https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/78-privacy-policy-direct-text-embedding-api
