1) You can easily disable the widget by adding the "iubenda-cs-preferences-link" class to a custom link or button. This will create a link that will allow users to update their Cookie preferences after having closed the cookie banner.
Here's an example: <a href="#" class="iubenda-cs-preferences-link">Cookie Preferences</a>
If you are using our CMP you should use this class instead: "iubenda-advertising-preferences-link"

2) Yes, we do have plans to add Canada among the legislations we cover, and our legal team si working on it as we speak.
