Q: The deal mentions "All future Ultra Plan updates" However in your website I only see: Personal/Business/Business Plus bundles.

Can you clarify what is the "Pro" and "Ultra" plans and licenses and also how they are matched to "Personal"/"Business"/"Business Plus" bundles on your website?

A: Hi there and thank you for reaching out to us!

That statement is just stating that if there are any updates that way make to the Ultra license, they will be included in the package you purchase and you do not have to make any additional purchases or changes while using the lifetime plan.

The license slots you receive with these plans can be used to assign the Pro or Ultra licenses.

The way our slots plans work, is that the multi-slots are used to assign licenses, they aren't used per solution used. You can either assign the Pro or Ultra license per website, per language.

The Pro license has the Privacy and Cookie Policies, and the Cookie Solution. The Ultra license has that of the Pro license but also includes the Terms & Conditions generator.

If you do not need the T&C then you can do the Pro license per website, per language and it would only use 1 slot in a multi-slot plan, but if you do need the T&C as well, you would need the Ultra license which uses 5 license slots per website, per language.

Multi-license plans are made of license slots (minimum 5 up to 1000 slots) with monthly or yearly payment options.
Using the slots that come with the plan you can generate both Pro and Ultra licenses.

This is how the conversion works:
1 Pro License = 1 Slot of your multi-license plan; Per website/app, per language.
1 Ultra License = 5 Slots of your multi-license plan; Per website/app, per language.

As an example: Say you had purchased the 15 multi-license slot plan, and you have just your one website in one language, it would use 5 of the 15 slots. Now if you had a second website that you needed the Ultra plan for as well, that would take another 5 and put you at 10 out of 15. Then say you have an app that only needs the Pro license since it doesn't need the T&C, then it would use one slot and that would put you at 11 out of 15 slots.

The info about the licenses conversion is available on our pricing FAQs page here: https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/6633-pricing-faqs#terms

Thank you for your answer, Another question came to my mind when reading answers to other questions. I am a little confused . So in reply to one of the previous questions it was mentioned that "Cookie Preference Logs feature that is included within the 3 codes deal for 300.000 pageviews and 300.000 consents for cookie stored each month" and in reply to another question it was mentioned that "all websites that generate less than 25.000 pageviews are not counted as for those the Cookie Solution si always free"

Regarding tier 3:

Let's say we have 2 websites, one has 20,000 pageviews this month. Can the other website have 300,000 pageviews in this month? I assume the 20,000 pageviews of the first website will not count through the quota? Is this correct?
if yes, the number of consents for cookies that are stored this month should not be 300,000 it should be 320,000 consents. This is the reason I am confused with the replies to previous questions as it was mentioned that the number of cookie consents which are logged with tier 3 is 300,000 per month.

So if I have 3 websites, first one use 15,000 per month, second use 20,000, can the third one use all the 300,000 pageviews in that month? if yes, don't you save cookie consents for websites that use less than 25,000 pageviews per month? So should not 335,000 cookies consents be saved for this month?

Another scenario, if the first website uses 25001, can the second website has 299,999 pageviews or it will be 274,999?

I am wondering when a website surpasses the the 25,000 free pageviews by 1 (or more) will you count the used pageviews from now on as 1 or 25,001 ?

Third Question, is there any limit in number of websites that can be used with tier 3? for example if I don't want the privacy policy, cookie policy, and terms-and-conditions, can I use the 25 licenses on 25 websites?

Next question, is there any limit on the amount of cookie consents logged in total (in the system)? For example if I have 200,000 page views this month and 300,000 pageviews next month and 200,000 the other month, all these consents will be logged and I will have 700,000 cookie consents logged in the system for these three month?

For how long will you keep these cookies? I assume you don't overwrite the previous month cookies after a while?

Regarding document generation, can we manually add clauses to the privacy policy, cookie policy, and terms-and-conditions that are generated using iubenda? if yes, do you have document on this? Some older comments from couple of month ago reported some issues with the speed of loading when using these extra features, can you clarify if the speed issues are solved when using the generated docs?

Can we add links to our own cookie policy & privacy policy in the cookie banner shown?

Last question, so there is no way to stack more than 3 codes in one account? if we buy 6 codes in this campaign, we have to create two accounts and redeem 3 codes in each of those accounts? Will that be OK?

So sorry for the confusion. The pageviews and Consents are usually different. The Pageviews are how many people view your website and that means they may not consent to your Cookie Solution. Here are how pageviews are counted https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/3062-how-are-calculated-the-pageviews-of-the-cookie-solution

If you have more than one website on your account, they each do get 25k pageviews for free, so then after they pageviews go over the 25k for either of those websites, they would then use the extra pageviews that you have on your account.

The consents are the users who actually consent to your banner, not any users that are declining consent. Also, the actual consents are not limited due to the new Cookie Preference logs feature as well, the only limit is the 10k consent forms.

As far as adding custom clauses or services, you can do so on the Privacy Policy using the steps in this guide here: https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/386-how-to-add-a-custom-service-and-customize-to-your-needs

For the Terms & Conditions, we do have an option that would allow you to customize your terms a bit more but you would need to reach out to us at info@iubenda.com to get it enabled for you. However, the clauses are very customizable on the generator as per this guide here: https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/19461-how-to-generate-terms-and-conditions#customize-your-terms-and-conditions

Within the Cookie Solution customizer, you do have an option to add your own Privacy or Cookie Policy links to the banner so it will take you to your current policies rather than using iubenda's.

For your final question about the codes, I do apologize but only three codes max can be redeemed to a iubenda account. If you need more than three, you would need to create another iubenda account to be able to redeem them.

I hope this helps! :)
