High Expectations, Massive disappointment

Started off with high expectations after reading the description and watching the video, also went through the Reviews and Questions, looked promising so I purchased two codes to ensure I had what I thought I needed to be fully covered. Just spent the last hour going through the process of setting up my Cookie Consent & Privacy Policy. Now, it's not that Iubenda is slow or anything, the system is seemed good and reasonably intuitive. The time was spent looking through my website and noting my services as I needed to add them.

The problem I have and the reason for the 1 taco is simple; I am adding this to one website, I require multinational cover for Cookies, Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. Having spent the hour completing the first two and then clicking on the 'Generate' button for the Terms, I get a pop-up telling me I need to upgrade to $57/Month 'Ultra License' to include it.

2 codes for 15 'Licences' are not enough for 1 website requiring 3 documents in 4 languages. Of course, I could get another code, making the total $177 for 25 licences, but will that give me what I need really? I've only selected 4 languages, what happens when I add more, will I then be required to upgrade again. The expectation that I 'need' to spend a not-insignificant amount on a monthly fee to get that done makes the whole offer seem less of an offer and more of an entry fee. How many Appsumo entrepreneurs have the most basic, singular website that requires just one Cookie Consent, or Privacy Policy, or T's & C's? Because if you have any more, you will have to upgrade; if you have 5 or more websites and require Cookie Consent, Privacy Policy and T's & C's and be multi-lingual for an international user base, you WILL have to pay a monthly fee, the 25 licence option won't cover it.

So for the sake of a completely obscure 'licensing' system with the only identifiable purpose of making you use up 'license slots' to make you buy more; the lack of transparency in the whole process and the almost inevitable requirement to upgrade and pay a monthly fee; and also the fact that for a fraction of the 'yearly' cost you could get them all written for you elsewhere, I honestly can't give it more than the 1 taco.

Hi Lee,

Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Terms and Conditions put you at 5 licenses per site/app and per language. In your case, you would need 20 licenses to cover all your 4 languages. If you were to hire a professional legal translator and a reviewer, for a total of twelve documents to translate, your bill would amount to at least $15,000. Or you can get the same by stacking 3 codes at $177. And if you're not happy with either the result or the pricing, you can always request a refund.

Your call ; )
