Taco ratings
Jamy has been praised for its unlimited transcriptions, customizable templates, and responsive customer support. However, some users have mentioned minor drawbacks such as UI/UX design and limited features in lower tiers. Overall, Jamy is a solid option for those seeking automated meeting notes. With a 60-day money-back guarantee, it's definitely worth trying out.

Recurring Setup Flow Issues—Time to Request a Refund
I’ve been using Jamy for several weeks without issues after completing setup on my first access almost two months ago. However, I’ve now hit the same bug twice: I’m stuck on step 3 (Email Verification) of the Setup screen and the Next button is disabled (shows the “not allowed” cursor on hover).
First time: Happened a few weeks ago and fixed itself within days without any intervention.
Second time: I’ve tried hard-refresh, logging out and back in, clearing cache/cookies, switching browsers (incognito), and checking my connection… nothing works.
For some reason, it forces me to reconfigure my account even though I’d been using it for weeks and had already completed that step almost two months ago. Despite Jamy’s potential and Yusef’s response (he told me last Friday in the in-app chat he’d look into it immediately), the tool remains unusable.
Since this is the second occurrence and the app is effectively inoperable, I’ll be requesting a refund under the 60-day guarantee. It’s a shame—when it works it’s great—but I can’t risk getting locked out again without a swift solution.
EDIT: Immediately after posting this review, Yusef wrote me by email. He said they don’t respond on weekends but then, in the same message, challenged me for having the issue twice instead of once, and bluntly encouraged me to go ahead with the refund.
That questioning and frankly unprofessional attitude left me no choice—despite genuinely liking the tool—other than to request a refund under the 60-day guarantee. I’m downgrading my rating from 2 stars to 1. With support like this, I cannot recommend Jamy. Never again.
Goodbye.

Edited Jul 27, 2025You reported this issue on a Friday night. Today is Sunday morning. You didn't even gave us a chance to review and fix. Go ahead and request a refund.
Why do you keep lying? I did not say we do not respond on weekends? That makes absolutely no sense since I responded less than 1 hour after your email. I said that bugs are not resolved immediately.
You sent the email today and today submitted...

Wow, this is the hidden gem I’ve been waiting for with meeting assistants.
So far, I just connected it to my Google Calendar and it automatically attends my meetings whether I join or not. It takes notes about the meetings and logs the general tasks discussed. I don’t know what else I should be expecting, but it’s blown my mind and saved me from the feeling of missing out when I can’t attend every meeting.

Lower Tiers? Really needs the Custom Meeting Templates to work
If ALL you need is transcription, then this is a great product at the T1 level.
However, for me, I was looking forward to the "actionable reports". I got it and tried it, but without the "custom meeting templates", it just doesn't work. You can't use ANY templates. I thought (wrongly) that there would be some templates that a T1 buyer could use, but no.
I'm kind of bummed because I used my $25 quarterly credit toward my purchase, and I won't get that back when I refund. But I'm likely going to refund this anyway. I already have another similar product so won't be upgrading to get the "Custom Templates" which are needed for my use case (charity club meeting minutes).

If You're Hesistant, Give it A Try!
One of the biggest indicators of product success in my mind is how responsive and willing the company behind the product is. My questions were always answered quickly and when a bit more was needed, they moved me to email to handle my issues. THAT is what makes me stay with a product when it might not be perfect. Is Jamy perfect? No, of course not. Is it worth it to get the higher level to get customization? YES! And the unlimited minutes/recordings is something you can't find everywhere. Definitely give it a try - it's a great little product that will eventually exceed the competition!!

Tremendous Value - Works very well & very happy with the features: EDIT: Can I give it 6 tacos
EDIT: Original review below. I just wanted to add to this as I've been using Jamy for about 3 to 4 months now so I have some more time using it.
1) The team behind Jamy is fantastic. I don't understand some of these other reviews that say support is unresponsive. Let me give you an example. All meetings show up in one section, but if you add them to a folder, it didn't show which folder they were in. I sent a feature request message asking if it was possible to add that detail in. It was acknowledged. LESS THAN A WEEK LATER I get an update that the feature was added. That is responsiveness. Obviously that does not happen all the time, but I think they saw a suggestion that could be a quick update on their side, and went ahead and implemented it.
2) Beyond that, I message the team occasionally, and they are always responsive, and if I ask for feature updates, they ask follow-up questions and ask for my opinion on different ways those features might look. This is probably the most responsive team I've worked with from any of my AppSumo purchases.
3) The custom meeting template feature is really great. There is a small learning curve, but once you play around with it, it gets much easier to create what you want. One of the best features here is the testing section. Basically, you create your prompts for how you want your meeting reports to look, and then use existing meetings to see how the reports generate. You can refine the prompt to see how the report changes. The system works really well to help refine the prompts.
Overally, I would say Jamy has been one of my top three purchases on AS so far.
End edit
-------------------------
I have been hoping that a meeting note taker (MNT) would show up on AS for a while now, and Jamy is pretty much exactly what I have been looking for.
Biggest draw - Unlimited transcriptions and summaries from live recordings or uploaded content. I have not seen another MNT that allows for UNLIMITED usage. The previous MNT I was using did have unlimited live meetings, but limited anything that was uploaded outside of their system.
Customizable Templates - This was the next biggest draw for me. Being able to customize the summaries that the system creates. My previous MNT didn't offer this at all. You can create a template from the ground up. I am still learning how to do this, but it isn't that hard, and the system makes it easier by creating components that you can add to templates and re-use. Very diverse options. Also, there is a public list of items that Jamy and other users can create and share! I have never seen this in any other MNT.
Folders - Sounds basic right? Being able to sort meetings into different folders. Well, my previous MNT didn't even offer this at all. Very easy to create and add meetings to folders.
Other negative reviews on this product - There are other reviews of Jamy that I don't think are fair. 1 star review because the system wasn't optimized for candidate reviews? Jamy offers that option via customized templates, but they didn't want to buy tier 4. I don't think that warrants a 1 star review. So if you are reading this, take that with a grain of salt.
Things I would like to see / improvements:
a) The UI is basic, it doesn't feel polished. This will probably change overtime, but doesn't take away from the usage of the product itself.
b) Phone recording is not included at all at any tier. I think at least a small amount of minutes should be included, at the very least in the top tier. However, this is still not a deal breaker for me at all, would just be a nice addition to the offering.
Final conclusion - I ended up buying tier 5. Not because I needed 15 seats, I really only need 1 right now, but because I wanted all of the features the system offers. Would I have liked the chat feature on tier 4. Absolutely. However, I can completely understand that this is a LTD, and the developers need to weight long term costs versus immediate income. In my opinion, it is still worth it. The previous MNT I was using cost $30 a month. Jamy pays for itself, JUST FOR ME, in less than 2 years, and I feel that is a very good value proposition.

May 27, 2025Hey! Thanks so much for your thorough and honest review. Thanks also for pointing out the context of the 1 star review we got, I really appreciate that and I think adds very relevant informations for potential buyers.
We will work on making our UI better, promise :)
