Q: Let’s Rethink Video Credits: A Fair Approach for Unlimited Plans
Regarding API credits, there seems to be a discrepancy. Previously, it was stated that 1 credit is required for 1 video. However, the current documentation indicates that 1 credit is needed per minute of video. With a Tier 5 plan, this barely allows for 70 videos (assuming all are 30 minutes long), which is far from an "unlimited" plan.
Additionally, there’s no actual savings in computing resources on your end if videos are created manually without credit limitations; it only makes the process more cumbersome for users. This could reduce our appreciation for the tool's efficiency.
I believe the credit limits should either be increased or the original rule of 1 credit per video should be reinstated.

Edited Dec 2, 2024A: Thank you for raising this concern. We do provide unlimited video creation within our app for users. However, for API usage, we’ve had to implement limits to prevent misuse, as there are costs associated with TTS and LLM services.
Please understand that offering unrestricted API access is not sustainable for a startup like ours. We hope this clarifies the reasoning behind the policy, and we appreciate your understanding.
BTW, 1 API credit = 2min Video instead of 1min.
But when I test JOGG, it says 1 credit = is 1 video. My video was 30 seconds
Less than 2min is also counted as 1 credit.

Eh man, they’re already very generous with their credit system (definitely on platform - I mean it’s unlimited - and even the API credits are fair for the price). I’m on the other side of the fence, hoping their LTD generosity doesn’t cause sustainability issues. Keep up the great work team
