Why does the iOS app only offer Google and Apple sign-in? Why isn't email login available?

Yes Please. We can't depend on Google and Apple. Big unaccountable companies. It is like transferring ownership to them if they control whether you can log in to your devices or not.

Your text data is always available locally on your device. If people are ok with paying subscription for email log in then will definitely look into it.
