Q: Mind maps and backups
I’ve watched a few videos showcasing Journal it, and I have to admit they really impressed me. In my opinion, it’s a tool that lets me organize several aspects of my life and access them all from one place. Your policy of allowing AI credits to be purchased separately is also a great move (it ensures stability without additional costs).
I would like to ask about two things, though:
- Do you plan to add a module that allows users to create mind maps in the future?
- If my device, such as my phone, malfunctions, will I be able to regain access to my files and notes, or are they stored exclusively local

- Have you looked at the outline note feature? It's quite similar to a mind map.
- Your data are stored on the cloud as well, so you only need to log in with the same account.

Yes, I’ve been looking at the outline note feature, and it’s incredibly useful. However, when I asked about mind maps, I was referring to a visual representation of my projects or plans.
Either way, I’ve decided to go with your product (and I hope to stop using the other tools I’ve been using so far).
My suggestions for new features are:
- visual mind maps :)
- API connection
- BYOK

Thanks for the purchase!
I'm working on a whiteboard feature for the next update which also embed outline notes and visual stuff, hope you'll like it.

I’ll emphasize once again that you have a great sales strategy. As buyers, we get a great tool, but we have to take care of our own storage space (Google Drive) or purchase AI credits (or BYOK). In this case, your operating costs are at a very reasonable level, which gives you the opportunity to keep developing Journal it.
Good luck with the AppSumo campaign !!

Thanks! I understand that longevity is important for this kind of app so it's better to be sustainable.
