Today I officially hit 1,000 days straight of daily journaling (not a joke!). Because I had such a massive backlog of entries with my previous provider, I was incredibly hesitant to make the switch. Thankfully, the Journal it! platform made the transition absolutely seamless.

We loved this app so much that we actually went back for seconds. We started at Tier 1 and quickly upgraded to Tier 2.

Here is why it stands out from the rest:

The Golden Rule: Just keep in mind that any organizational tool is only as good as the information you give it. If you feed it well, it will organize your life beautifully.

Awesome, stable, premium quality, instant support...too much offered. After Evernote (still using their legacy version), "JournalIt" is modern; updated 2-3 times per week with new features. Easy navigation, generate beautiful aesthetic folders, notes, ...all too much and STABLE. First month using, still several hidden features...all too much...too convenient. 😉

Pros:

Everything Actually Connects: This genuinely replaces five apps. My journal entries show completed tasks, my tasks link to projects, and my habits feed into goal dashboards. It all works together without me doing manual linking.

Works Without Internet: I can journal on flights, plan my day in areas with no signal, and check off habits anywhere. When I get connectivity back, everything syncs automatically.

Privacy Focused: My files stay in my own cloud storage, I can encrypt everything end-to-end, there are no ads, and the app works offline, so my data stays on my device.

No Setup Needed: Unlike Notion, where I spent days building databases, I opened Journal it! and started using it immediately. The structure is already there.

Truly Cross-Platform: The iPhone, Android, Mac, and web versions all have the same features and sync seamlessly. I can start planning on my phone and continue on my computer.

Affordable: The Pro version costs less than most productivity subscriptions, and the AppSumo lifetime deal offers significant value.

You Own Your Data: I can export everything anytime, and my files are already in my own cloud storage. If I ever leave, I take everything with me.

I had been looking for an app like this since 2019. Most people recommended physical notebooks or very simple apps like Google Tasks or Microsoft To Do, but for me they always lacked important features for managing goals, KPIs, notes, and living more intentionally.

Journall is probably the closest thing I’ve found to having everything integrated into one place.

The whiteboard feature has been especially useful for me because it adds more context and structure to my notes and ideas, instead of having everything in basic lists.

There are still a few small features I’d like to see in the future, and I’ll probably share those suggestions with the community later on.

I also think the price is very low for everything it includes, especially compared to many apps on the Play Store. That said, the learning curve can be a bit challenging at first because the app offers a lot of functionality. Personally, I don’t mind that complexity, since I prefer using one complete system instead of several separate apps.

Life is complex, and sometimes your organizer needs to be as well. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for something beyond just a “to-do list app”

Where do I even start? This app is everything I've been looking for. Yes, it can be very overwhelming at first but after watching the intro videos on YouTube, I was able to understand and navigate it better.

I use it for:

1} Daily journaling - To document happenings in my life, to reflect, etc. Because I have a basket brain 🤣

This was the app that convinced me to finally shift from writing in physical books to having a digital journal.

2} Managing my tasks & projects: It has so many little features that make doing this a dream! I use calendar sessions to create recurring tasks that repeat at different frequencies. As someone who loves knowing exactly what needs to be done and when, this app is perfect for that!

3} Picking up new habits: I'm currently picking up a new breathwork habit and I love how the reminder pops up based on the times I set it to, and it reminds me to practise!

These are just the top use cases for me. I love that I can add images and videos to entries and see what life looked like visually on those days.

Another feature I absolutely ADORE is the FLASHBACK feature. It brings up memories (entries) from the past and shows you what you were doing/thinking/feeling and you can even leave comments as if you're talking to yourself from the past!

This app is amazing and I just couldn't miss this deal when I saw it.

I 100% recommend JournalIt and the developer is so responsive, in the Facebook group and beyond.

Truly a 10/10 experience.
