It's ok

It does what you would expect from a QR code generator. The customization is is pretty neat and the scan and code generation allowance should be fine, depending on your usage.

The analytics and reporting is a bit disappointing, with no way of sharing the data other than screenshots.

My biggest issue and reasoning for 2 tacos is the Custom Domain"S". It states domains, as in plural on the deal, but if you try do more than one, you are prompted to request an Enterprise solution.

Thanks for the honest review!

Just to clarify the custom domain situation — the PRO plan will soon include 5 custom domains by default: one for QR codes, one for the bio page, one for the vCard, and two as a reserve. We’re in the process of rolling this out, and the dashboard support for it is coming soon.

If you need an extra custom domain right now, feel free to reach out to us at...

The QR codes are nice, but the lack of development is concerning

I needed nice circular QR codes with the client's logo inside. JoyQR can do that. But otherwise, it's very limited, the vCard is not white-labeled as advertised, and I see absolutely no product evolution for over a year. The deal with ElkQR here on AppSumo honestly seems like a much better option: more features, more power, and regular small updates that demonstrate the product still receives attention from its founder. Of course, I'll edit this review if things suddenly change, but as of the date I'm writing this review, that's what I can say about it.

Thank you for your honest feedback.

You’re absolutely right that visible product updates have been limited recently. The main reason is that we’ve been fully focused on rebuilding and upgrading our backend redirection infrastructure—a critical and sensitive task given the large number of active users and QR codes. This upgrade went live a few weeks ago, and we’re now monitoring it closely to...

Great tool

Works great and lands people where we want for campaigns. The statistics on the backend are helpful for trade show activity. We scan for contests and get an idea of foot traffic at the booth.

I miss static vcard

I was hoping that I could create static vcards, but the vcard qrcode is only dynamic.

Thank you for your review!

You’re absolutely right—the current vCard QR code is only dynamic. However, we’re planning to roll out extended vCard features, including a passive (static) option, in the first quarter of 2025.

We appreciate your feedback and support as we continue to improve JoyQR. Let us know if you have any other suggestions!
