Software with potential
I need to project mgmt tool for software projects and bought 3 codes. As soon as I hit the road block which prevented me from creating a project on my macbook pro, I immediately requested a full refunds on all three codes. Then I submitted a ticket to the team and was surprised how quickly it replied and fixed the issue within a day. So I gave it another shot by re-purchasing the code and continued my testing. So far, after two days playing with it, two things stands out for me: fast support and the tool runs fast in the cloud. I mentioned the responsive support already, so keep up with the good works, Jumppl team. I have ConvertKit and would really want to see it can speed up a bit more. So comparing Jumppl's speed to that of ConvertKit, Jumppl is fast and I like that. I haven't used other PM tools, like Trello and all, so I come in as a new user to a PM software and wanted to see if it's intuitive enough for me to learn without using much of the knowledge base it has. So far, so good. Now I have to say the knowledge base can be more robust with more tutorials, which really can take up time to create. Hopefully Jumppl team will do that soon. After finding that the knowledge base has minimal content, I simply just forged ahead to see if I can figure things out by myself. So far, after some trial and errors, I am putting projects/tasks/inviting team members together and I am pretty much have it ready for real test by inviting my software guys onboard. Now, let me back track a little. Before I purchased it, I read a review mentioning the UX of the tool needs much help and there was a long back-n-forth conversation btwn the user and the team. So I paid attention to the UX side of it when I am going through the set up. I would have to say the UX have lots room to be improved up on. It's not necessarily bad enough to throw me off the course, but it can use some helps. I was planning to leave a review just yet, but Appsumo emailed me asking if I can do that and I think I can share my thoughts based on my initial experiences with the tool, which hopefully can provide some useful feedback to the team. This took has potential and clearly it has lots room for improvement and I think it has the mentality to do so.
