Q: Just bought 2 codes because I have 2 companies with different items and services.
This software is used only for final invoicing? EXAMPLE QUESTION 1
Suppose I have a kitchen furniture shop. A client orders 3000$ of items and gives in advance 1000$. Sorry, I couldnt find anywhere a card that says that the total sales are 3000$, money taken 1000$ and due 2000$ (which I want to split in 2 monthly payments)
EXAMPLE QUESTION 2
I arranged with a customer a total sale of 4000$. Client gives me zero upfront, BUT we establish a 4-month 1000$ payments. Nowhere I could see somewhere that my company has a 4000$ sales already (that either will come sooner or later). Or reminders up ahead.
EXAMPLE QUESTION 3
I sold an item. Lets say 50$. Got the cash in my pocket. Sent the invoice. Where I see that todays profit is 50$ ? Couldnt find.
For example this https://s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/static.appsumo2/media/stories/images/kashoo-2.png from Appsumo, cannot find it.
That's all for the moment, saw the webinar yesterday, strangely starts with NO company which is a crucial step and I have to forward it to the end to find out.
Maybe this software is only for straight on demand invoicing and not a solution that I open a dashboard and see what money I have to wait this week, this month, or maybe I am wrong with that and would like to see it working for me (as I said bought 2 licences) otherwise is a refund sooner or later.

May 15, 2024A: Hey Sumo-ling,
For this situation, you can invoice your client for $3000. But when they make their first payment of $1000, you go into the invoice and click 'Add Payment' and only enter $1000. That way, your invoice will show that they still owe $2000, and you can send that new invoice to your client.
For example 2, you could either arrange it the same way (create an invoice for $4000 and then just set the due date for 4 months down the road, and add in payment of $1000 every month and resend the invoice with the new total) or you could just create 4 invoices of $1000 so that you can give your client those 4 separate invoices.
Once you sent the invoice, you can either see the $50 income in your mini reports on the right hand side of the page (on the webapp), or for the photo that you sent, that would be on the iOS app via the iPad. You go into 'Income', 'All Clients', and you will see the new entry. Or on the webapp it's 'Income and Expenses', scroll down, and you will see the new entry.
You can definitely use Kashoo to track upcoming bill and invoices—not just invoices that have already been paid. Once you create unpaid invoices with future due dates, you can go into 'Invoices' and it will tell you which are paid or unpaid, or you can go into 'Unpaid Invoices' which will show you a more detailed breakdown with time frames.
Hope that answers all of your questions.
