Katalist is user-friendly and intuitive. Starting a project is a breeze, whether you're crafting a script from scratch or importing one.

I like the ability to use AI's to generate a script from a simple idea, and the storyboard visualization it provides is a fantastic starting point for creative projects.

The AI-generated images are a mixed bag. On one hand, you have both cinematic (real) and sketch (drawing) art styles and they can look great.

On the other, there are some consistency issues with character appearances and clothing, you can end up with the same person duplicated in the shot, and the infamous AI-claw-hand-mutant-hand issue crops up.

Thankfully you've the ability to edit and regenerate images. I like the generative fill tool, it enables you to add key props to scenes without the need for Photoshop, although it's worth noting that background items won't be blurred to match the focus of the scene.

The recent addition of 'My Characters' is a promising feature, allowing for more personalized storytelling. While it's still in beta and needs refinement, the potential for creating custom characters is exciting.

The foundation is there for a great product, I'm sure as AI image generation improves so will Katalist.
