It's good but it needs work
Pros:
- You can source information for your content from various places (google, youtube, amazon, etc.) I don't think any other AI app does that.
- The app is very user-friendly for beginners
- The article pro writer v2 outline generator customization is good.
- The generated content from article pro writer is well written, especially V4 (their other pro writer) it generates engaging articles.
Cons:
- You can't make simple edits in the article editor, such as highlighting text and changing it to headings, bold, bullet points, italics etc.
- The article pro v2 is very limited, the maximum number of headings is 20. So you can't put more headings.
- The article pro v2 maximum number of words you can generate is 2500 words, you would have to use V4 for more words.
- The article pro writer V4 has a feature to put a few SEO keywords you want included in the article however most of the time the keywords are not included in the article after the article is generated.
- If you paste your custom outline in article pro writer V4 it will be disorganized and you have to correct it.
- Sometimes the article pro writer V4 will generate the WHOLE article in HTML or a part of the article will be in HTML. And sometimes when the article is generated headings would be missing so it would be an incomplete article.
Requests
- Have basic editing functions in the editor like word (headings, bold, italics, bullet points etc)
- Be able to highlight and expand paragraphs in the article editor.
- Have one article pro writer, it should look like V2 with V4 features such as "Article Guidelines, SEO Keywords, Don't exceed the word count tick box and Article settings. (Basically, V2 Let's Start With Basics, Table of Contents with V4 features)
- Unlimited headings
- Select as much words as you want written
- The option to select what style of writing you want, (heading followed by paragraphs or heading followed by paragraphs, key takeaways, tables, highlights etc like V4.)
- Option to insert at least 20+ SEO keywords and MAKE the AI include the keywords in the article.
- Make the AI generate articles without HTML/Missing headings or any issues!!!

I have addressed some of these issues to the katteb support team and they said they would fix them but the issues are still there, which forces me to look for alternatives so hopefully they fix it and implement my requests then I will give a review update.

Regarding the Cons:
Basic editing functions: We understand the need for more flexibility in the editor, and we're already offering it. To enable the editor tools, go to the preferences tab.
Article Pro V2 limitations: We’re planning to address the limit on headings and word count in future updates and look into how we can merge the best features of V2 and V4 to create a more seamless writing experience. Your idea of combining the best of both worlds (V2’s structure with V4’s advanced features) is exactly the direction we're heading in.
Keyword inclusion and HTML issues: We’ve heard you! The fact that keywords aren’t always included and that articles sometimes generate in HTML format or miss headings is something we're already investigating.
We're pushing updates to improve this and ensure a more consistent output without formatting issues.
We really appreciate your patience, and I want to assure you that the support team wasn’t just brushing off your concerns and we are actively working on these fixes.
