My favourite AI writer
Katteb is already an essential part of my daily workflow, and seems to just keep on getting better as update after update adds new features.
The founder is very active on the Facebook page, and if something is suggested for an update, it'll often be done a week or two later. There was a very sensible approach to balancing the demand and costs of GPT4 versus 3.5, which worked both for the users and sustainability of the business.
The one time I had a support issue about my account when first setting up, it was solved within minutes.
When first looking at this deal, I thought - do I really need another AI writer? After realising how much I was using it, I went back for more.
The UI was redesigned, because Katteb now offers so many more features.
You can get long articles based on a selected outline, including how many words you want and the headers. If you want to you can add up to four sources including URLs, YouTube, Amazon products, or your own library of snippets, which is then used to generate copy.
The long form article output also includes numbered source links, making it easy to include or delete them.
Short articles, headlines, featured snippets, blog intro, real estate description, brad statement, paraphrasing, Facebook posts, pros & cons, essay writer, Linkedin posts, summariser and email copy and many more templates are in the Katteb Assistant dropdown menu, with the choice of person, tone, and format. Plus there's an article rewriter.
They've recently added chat, which I've found very useful. Again, you can add URL, YouTube and Amazon sources if you want.
The AI image creation isn't Midjourney level, but it does a competent job if you get the prompt right and delivers what I need.
Would I press one button and publish whatever was generated? No, because I wouldn't with any AI writer. I check Katteb's facts, which is easy to do and far easier than finding facts myself. I used to get a lot of fluff, but I improved my prompts and the fluff has totally gone.
It's worth looking at the Katteb YouTube channel if you want to see some of the features in action, such as how to use snippets.
