Q: Welcome!
For those of us sending emails for business and marketing purposes, can you please create a use case as follows:
1) Assume we control the DNS (duh)
2) Assume we send our personal emails via GMAIL or MSFT, like everyone in the world. (I suppose you could add a personal SMTP server, but this would be the exception, I'm sure).
3) Assume we use a minimal of two email sending services such as Sendgrid, Sendfox, MailPoet, Mailchimp, etc.. for marketing blasts. Assume we're sending 10K-500K per domain.
You'd sell a boatload more of codes if you can articulate the use case here, codes will pop off the shelves!!
Thx

May 15, 2024A: Thanks for articulating it nicely. KDMARC works with only business emails.
Implementation of KDMARC depends on you and how you want to configure it. It has 2 options one is based on CNAME records (we manage the DNS for _dmarc) and the other is based on text records where you completely control your DNS.
Regarding the marketing email service, once you setup your KDMARC account you will be able to see how your marketing email is lending in the receiver's inbox. Also how effectively your SPF, DKIM and DMARC records are configured.
Once you know what's failing and why it's failing in the KDMARC Dashboard, you will be able to fix all the issues related to SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Not only this but also you will be able to see which are the unauthorized source trying to send emails on your behalf or spoofing your domain.
If you had configured the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC record correctly with the reject policy, No one will be ale to use your domain to send spam/malicious email, The receiver(mail server) will directly reject the email from any unauthorized source. This helps you to make sure your email domain reputation is always up and no one is able to use your email to send spam/phishing emails to your customer.
Apart from this here is some of the use cases that I had listed in the pinned post-
-Become email deliverability experts
-Boost email marketing by boosting your email engagement rate
-Maintain your email domain reputation
-Detect sources spoofing your email domain
-Check your domain if it can be spoofed or not
-Secure your email domain against spoofers
-Reduce email-based attacks like spamming, BEC attacks, etc.
-Streamline your outbound mail flow
