Really Solid Tool
I thought I'd give Keyframes Studio a crack and see how it went.
Turns out it's really good.
I've got Invideo, which is OK, it's not my favourite tool to use. I've got Wave Video which I prefer over invideo, has a lot of nice features, and for bigger complex things I use Davinci Resolve which is great.
But sometimes you just want to smash out a simple social media video. Sometimes you need to do this on an old laptop on the side of the road. Maybe that's just me.
I thought I would check out Keyframes studio.
First off, I like that you can just start playing around with the editor without signing up for anything. The UI and UX is really clean and nice.
Other things I like:
🌮Easy to add media files to your project
🌮Ability to create brand kit items. For the things you use all the time.
🌮The settings and controls you have over text
🌮The ability to edit keyframes
🌮How you can switch super quickly from the edit keyframe page to the preview mode
🌮You can pick different social media platforms and the crop size changes to match it
🌮Being able to create subtitles easily and edit them
🌮Able to record your screen & camera, or just one or the other or just voice is great
I really think this is a great product and the price and limits are great.
If you've used editing software before, it might seem too basic for you. But I think for what it is intended for, it's really good.
If you're new to editing and it seems overwhelming, check out the overview video and really play around with it. You should be able to pick it up very quickly.
It's a lot easier to learn than other products out there and it offers keyframes, some other web based tools don't have. Allowing you to zoom in and out when you need to.
I'm not sure what else I would want to improve as it currently is.
I think it is a well thought out product that does what it does really well.
