A: Keyword volume isn't data that Amazon exposes publicly via their APIs, there are third party services that speculate and provide estimates but they are just estimates. I am hesitant to add that simply because we're conflicted between value and accuracy. Amazon exposes keywords and keywords suggestions based on consumer behavior and shopping trends which we use this data in our service. Usually the top keywords in the suggestions are the ones with most popularity (relative to the other results).

We considered doing what other services are doing in providing volume estimates but we concluded that it doesn't really benefit avid Amazon sellers. We believe the true value lies in relevancy more than the volume of searches. Simply because to Amazon, it's about relevancy a lot more than search volumes.

We are looking at ways to make the best of both worlds available soon. Apologies for the long answer but I wanted to explain the issue at length. The short of it, is we don't have an ETA yet, but we're trying to navigate the best of both worlds between accuracy and function.
