Very disapointed

The keyword research tool is awful. The data isn't very reliable. Completely different than other tools like keywords.io and ahrefs. Included terms that are clearly from Google and NOT YouTube. The interface is clunky and very slow. It timed out on me many times. If I had been quicker to test this out I would have refunded it.

Only 30 AI keyword Per month

When I saw it I thought there is some mistake, as tire 3 received only 30 AI searches/per month.
Did they manipulate us in order to lunch? I assume yes.

I'm not a chunky wad of cash.

This is OK for keyword research on Youtube and has some interesting features even if you don't splurge for the tier 3 (which I did) where you get the AdSpy thingamajig.

There are many login bugs and sessions crash pretty frequently. The app is slow at times. None of these have been fixed and they have been noted here in AppSumo too for a while now.

Most of the time on AS we decide to go for a product it is because we believe it has potential. This one doesn't - at least not for Sumolings. You only get what they offer now. It is used as a platform for being upsold to and the value won't grow in time.

I have been bombarded with upsell emails for courses at extremely overinflated prices in the 1000s. I feel that I'm seen as a fat wad of cash looking for a wallet to crawl into.

Instead of fixing the bugs, a new feature was launched. The AI segment feature was just introduced this week. After receiving a dozen emails about the feature I hoped would be included in the top-tier LTD, it was launched at a "discounted" price of $1997/year down from $3,564/year and $2997 /year down from $5,964/year for the two options.

While I'm all for making money, these prices need a digit knocked off at a minimum. I wouldn't have considered buying the LTD if I had a feel for this pricing philosophy beforehand. What worries me is that with the high prices, their volume won't justify future investment and the LTD's future will be at stake.

It's a shame because this space could do with a hero product but at this pricing I don't see this happening. Let's hope they reconsider their approach and make it a star.

Constant Errors

Not leaving 1 taco so the review doesn't get deleted.
Network and server 504 errors. (when there are even responses)
Many promos sent though.
Unfortunatley past the refund period. (I forgot to set a reminder, as I gave them time to fix their constant errors).
You know you're in trouble when support is telling you to restart your computer (because that REALLY affects server errors on their end)
Frankly this is one of those appsumo failures you just to to eat.

Support Got It Done! (Like Brexit)

I was first attracted to Keywordsearch here for finding placements for pre-roll
video ads. in use I found it very easy, easier than expected to be fair
it worked almost too well, as the competitor research deflated my ego by showing me (really quick) that there were other content creators making videos similar
to what I was thinking of making.

but the 'AI similar keywords search' allowed me to dig in and spot
a different approach I could take (My ego is growing back).

Onboarding was a challenge, which Probably was my fault (Headache)
the support kept on it while keeping me updated with the progress
but they got the techie in and had it sorted
now happy to say KWS works a dream no hype, highly
recommend them.
