Q: Advantages over open-source options?
I'm just wondering why I would buy KillerPlayer over using an open-source option like Plyr & using Google Analytics to track my play, pause, stop and more.
I know it mentions that videos count towards your YT views, but that's NOT possible anymore, YouTube blocked all embeds from counting towards views, only views on their domain count now.
And don't get me wrong, I like you product and am interested in buying tier 3, but what scares me is there is some false advertising and no assurances of product not working as I've read happened recently.
That's why I'm asking what makes KillerPlayer different or stand out vs an open-source skin or API YT video player such as Plyr or Vidstack. Which both are easy to implement on your site with 1 or 2 lines of code. And I ask this as I run a larger site and would need to replace code.

To address your question directly: KillerPlayer goes far beyond a basic open-source wrapper like Plyr or Vidstack. We offer premium-level features typically found only on platforms like Wistia or Vimeo Pro, including:
- Autoplay (even on mobile)
- Hide player's control bar and YouTube's branding
- Disable pause functionality (great for upsells, funnels, or time-restricted playback)
- Custom Watermark
- Domain Lock – your videos only work on domains you approve
- CNAME – display your own custom domain instead of YouTube’s
- 5 Skins with unlimited color customizations
