Why not create a structured way for buyers, agencies, or investors to step in and acquire or sustain promising products before they die? There’s clearly demand, and many in this community would support or even fund solutions they rely on.

Also, critical updates like this should be proactively emailed to all purchasers—not discovered on the deal page.
