As someone who checks out the minisite apps, I naturally took a look at this one. There are some seemingly small features that may be overlooked with this software. One is that you can switch the navigation from story to vertical to buttons. This allows you to customize the mobile experience for the person that receives your kites.

Another stand out feature is the "pop up" functionality option. You can make any element clickable and trigger a pop up to provide additional information in the form of video, picture, or text. You can keep your main slide clean and not too busy while still being able to convey your entire message. It's a handy feature.

There is this particular slide type, catalog, that I think is really cool. You can put your entire collection of products/services in your kites and organize the within the mobile format with as many sections as you want and cards that can be customized with pictures, functionality like the "pop up" I just mentioned or external links and so on. It scrolls vertically so you don't have to worry about running out of space. I wonder if it would be possible in the future to make the slides scroll vertically like that.

Features that I can't wait to be implemented:

1. HTML/ JScript embed: I have widgets and stuff that I want to plug in to my kites and further customize and personalize them.

2. Mobile editor: I haven't seen anyone do this, but I can imagine being able to take out my phone or even my tablet and create a new or edit an existing kite right there on the spot.

3. A.I.: This is another roadmap item. I can see this complementing both the desktop and mobile versions of the app. When it comes to creating kites, having templates, or A.I. or something to keep me from staring at a blank screen will probably have me cranking out brand new mini sites for different use cases.

I find Kites to be a solid app with a good team and the potential to be a truly unique experience site builder. I'm looking forward to seeing it's further development.
