Good idea, not yet ready for primetime

I like the idea of having AI help you in your inbox and with pipeline management, and I wanted Klipy to work. Still, after just glancing at the dashboard I can see that this will cause me more work and frustration.

For example, let's start with "People". I myself am listed at least three times as working for three different companies.

Klipy used a message that included one of my clients to create a company using my client's name (which is NOT correct).

Moving on to "Follow-ups," Klipy reads an email chain of which I am a part and suggests that I follow up with myself.

It creates contacts and company entries for EVERY email you get, including all those junk emails.

It's just not useful to me to have to wade through all the erroneous data it generates.

Thank you for your feedback. I agree on the data noise - you've raised valid points about data accuracy that we're actively addressing.

As a relatively young and rapidly evolving platform, we're deploying weekly updates to tackle these precision challenges - for example, we had a release going out just today that tightens the lead capturing to focus only on inbounds that have a purchase intent.

Based on our testing, this would reduce the amount of unnecessary entries by about 60%. For the record - Klipy DOES NOT create records for EVERY email as you suggested. And we have set an aggressive target to reduce data noise to under 5% by January 2025. Over the last 4 weeks on AppSumo launch, we've really benefited a lot from everyone's sharp critiques and feedback to stabilize and set the direction for our product vision. Each piece of feedback helps us refine our algorithms and improve data accuracy.

For future customers - Klipy is particularly designed for users who are new to CRM or haven't yet established formal CRM processes. The auto-population feature helps build the habit of maintaining customer relationships by doing the heavy lifting of data entry - making it easier to start benefiting from a CRM system without the typical manual overhead.

Our vision unfolds in clear phases - the first being to establish a reliable, automated single source of truth for your customer relationships without the manual entry burden. Once this foundation is solid, we will rapidly expand into intelligent automations and integrations with your existing sales tools and processes.

This will enable truly hyper-personalized customer interactions, powered by context-rich relationship history all in one place - which is something you cannot "Enrich" using any system available in the market. This is why the tool is so focused on data capturing right now. Every tool is only as good as the data that has been entered - and we want this to happen without wasting people's time.

Remember, filtering, cleansing, and deduplication can be easily added and executed within seconds afterwards. But capturing genuine customer interactions and building that rich relationship context? That's impossible to recreate retroactively - and that's exactly what sets Klipy apart.
