KloudFox Questions

Q: Hi Raj, Kloudfox might be the tool I have been waiting for....

Here is my use case and question. I have 3 wordpress websites. Two of them have pages built with Elementor Pro and sometimes when there is an update in Elementor or one of the addon plugins, a conflict appears and then the whole site is down. I usually either need to resolve the conflict or restore a previous backup to get the site working again. The problem is that usually a client or a JV partner would tell me that the site is down.
1) How can KloudFox alert me when the site is down? If I just add the home page & ask it to be monitored daily, does it count as 30 monitors? Is the monitor 24/7 or is it at a specific time and it will only tell me if site is live or not AT THAT SPECIFIC TIME.
2) Can I add multiple monitors from my 3 different sites as long as it is in my total monitors limit?
3) Does the alert come via email?
Thanks
Jay

A: Hi Jay, thanks for sharing your use case – KloudFox is built exactly to handle situations like this. Let me address your points one by one:

Downtime Alerts – KloudFox monitors your site 24/7 in real-time. If your site goes down, you’ll get an instant alert (no need to wait for a scheduled daily check). Adding a URL counts as 1 monitor, regardless of how often it’s checked, so it will not eat...

Q: Monitor

Please can you kindly explain what a monitor is? And also if I add a URL for my website will that monitor the entire website?

A: Hi Sumorl,

A monitor is simply a check that KloudFox runs on your website or service to ensure it’s available and working as expected. For example, you can monitor whether a webpage is loading, whether a keyword is present, or if your server is responding correctly.

If you add a URL for your website, the monitor will specifically check that page/URL you entered. It won’t automatically scan...

Q: Possible to match 'Popular' plan?

Would it be possible whether here on appsumo or directly through you guys, to get LTD for the 'Popular' plan or even the 'Enterprise' plan?

A: Hi MagikModz,

Thanks for your question 🙏. The current AppSumo LTD we’re running is actually based on our “Popular” plan, but with even more monitors and features included.

At this time, the other plans (like Enterprise) aren’t available as LTD — this was designed as a short promotional campaign with only one tier.

That said, if you feel your use case requires something beyond what’s...

Q: Domain expiration

Hi,
Is this a feature now? I read old questions saying it was supposed to be coming.

A: Hi Smdemos,

Thanks for checking in on this 🙏. Domain expiration monitoring has definitely been on our roadmap for a while. At the moment, it isn’t live yet — we want to make sure it’s built in a way that’s both accurate and reliable before rolling it out.

That said, it’s something we’re actively working toward, and I’ll make sure to share updates as soon as we have a confirmed release...

Q: Question about search engine indexing of status pages

I have a quick question regarding the visibility of status pages in search engines. Are status pages by default indexed by search engines like Google, or are they typically excluded from indexing (e.g. via robots.txt or meta tags)?

Just trying to understand whether these pages are discoverable via search engines or intentionally kept out of public search results. Thanks in advance for your clarification!

A: By default, KloudFox does not allow search engine indexing for status pages on our platform's default domain (like yourproject.uptimekloudfox.com) — these are set with noindex to protect your privacy and avoid unnecessary exposure.

However, if you’re using a custom domain (like status.yourcompany.com), indexing is allowed by default. That means search engines can discover and index your status...
