The support has been really fantastic and professional.
I'm a founding member of New Zenler and hence get a killer deal with them, but if I werent, I'd honestly have gone with Knorish instead. The UI is great, I love the tutorials and the price is very fair.
I'm still using Knorish as my homepage to link to my courses on my other pages. The only thing you need to remember is that Knorish is India-centric. So if you're based in EU (like me) it'll take some minor tweaking.
I'm quite happy with knorish LMS platform. The product is quite mature and they seem to be well stablished in India, which gives me confidence the company is here to stay. I got the License Tier 2 for $179 witch includes white labeling and the capacity to run memberships/subscriptions where I can charge a monthly fee to my students in order to have access to all my content. I like that it can connect with Acumbamail (another amazing LTD here in Appsumo) via Pabbly connect integration. The lack of video hosting doesn't really border me, I was looking at LearnDash and Tutor LMS before I discovered Knorish and they don't offer video hosting neither. All my videos are hosted in bunnynet, is fast, reliable and extremely affordable. Their Knowledge Base (documentation) is extensive and very well explained. And they offer webinars on how to implement sales funnels for your courses. Overall his is a fantastic deal, don't let it pass.
I have tried many education platforms from appsumo but I could not get right platform for me. I need to customise web pages but I could not get anyone, knorish is the right platform for me. Customer support is excellent, they are supporting from phone, video screen sharing, through tickets. Just now I finished my website https://studyring.com
I purchased 3 tier plan and I got 50 authors and unlimited space for courses for each author I will get unlimited space, my long time vision is completed with knorish. Till now I am happy to purchase knorish.
This is a nice LTD. I already purchased a Vimeo annual subscription, so I wasn’t worried about them not hosting my video. Plus, I prefer to host it with another provider. It also makes sense, if they hosted my videos then they’d have to charge more than $279. The web builder is very nice. It’s not at the same level as something like Elementor, but it gets the job done. This deal is a much better value than trying to piece this all together with Wordpress. In the end, I did opt for a refund, but that’s only because I got cold feet about hosting my entire catalog on a $279 LTD. If I had a smaller catalog (and I didn’t know anything about Wordpress), then this would be a great option. My only gripe is that they should use a Content Delivery Network (CDN). I was getting pretty slow page loads here in the US.

Hey there,
Thanks for your candid feedback. We have just launched the general embed option which will now allow you to embed any content in the course builder. Hence, you need not worry about hosting your entire catalog on Knorish.
Further, we are already using CDN, and the site should work exactly the same as it’s working in India.
We currently have customers around the globe and we have not...
I was going to give 3 tacos. But bumped it up due to the excellent customer support.
I think this product is very mature in many ways and has lots of features for a course creator / coaching and training operator.
It is in my opinion better than recent offerings such as Vonza. But still a bit of work to do.
Funnels, inbuilt themes, simple course layout, ability to generate your own templates to reuse for course design and some reasonable integrations. Ability to add your favourite payment gateways at no additional cost.
I would like it if the elements in the page builder automatically drew in (and updated) things like course pricing and the course purchase URL, rather than having to manually do this and risk there being discrepancies down the track.
The option to develop a course landing page where you select the course first then build the page based upon the established meta information and various pricing options for the course would be sensible.
Assessments (quizzes) are fairly basic and have the standard open-ended question or MCQ. Would be nice to have the options for things like check lists and uploading assignments (with grading).
You can include digital products in your courses. But there is no separate way of selling these independently unless you want to make a course just to house your digital product.
There are really only two pricing/invoicing options available at the moment. You can set your prices in INR and it will calculate GST (but only at the Indian rate of 18%) or set them at USD and if you need to include GST, calculate this for yourself.
For me (based in Australia) this currently makes the app non-viable as a live proposition. Australian customers want receipts that include an indication of the GST they have paid.
It would be nice to have the option to set your own VAT / GST rate and display prices for the local currency that you are in.
Finally, the custom domain process was clunky. I was able to sort this out by contacting customer support.
Having customers sign up for cloudflare (linked to knorish) and add a brand new domain name might make sense if your customer is non-tech.
However, it doesn't make sense where you have developers or established course creators who will generally want to do this for themselves and runs against the industry standard of providing DNS settings to link your own custom domain or subdomain to the app.
