Q: Will this keep personal and business expenses separate?
Can very small businesses use this software? Will it keep personal and business banking accounts separate with the ability to do separate analytics for personal and business? Even though this is listed under personal, most of the other software tools on appsumo for businesses offer a lot of features that are more than what we need. We are incorporated but are just starting out and don't require much other than making sure everything is accounted for and easily utilized for any reporting requirements. What's attractive about this tool is the ability to also track investment purchases.
A: At the moment, Know Your Dosh doesn’t support grouping personal and business accounts separately, but you absolutely can add both types of accounts to the platform.
We're working on a feature (coming soon) that will allow you to view and filter transactions per account, so you'll still be able to distinguish between personal and business finances clearly on an account-by-account basis.
For very small businesses, especially early-stage ones that don’t need heavy accounting tools, KYD is a great fit, it keeps things simple, helps track your financials, and even allows you to monitor investments alongside everything else in one place.
Appreciate the great question and we're excited to support your journey as your business grows!
Looking at the site and all the images everything is displayed in pounds. Are we able to change to our local currency? Also, will the income tax calculator and any other calculator represent local currency and taxes?
A: Yes, you are able to change to any currency of the world. You can do that in your profile settings. Regarding income tax calculator, unfortunately it is applicable to UK only right now. We will be adding others later on depending upon demand from our users.
You're absolutely right. Budgeting and recurring transactions aren’t available just yet, but I’m happy to share that both features are firmly on our product roadmap. We know how important they are for a complete financial picture, and we’re working to bring them to the platform in an intuitive and powerful way.
I'm really sorry we couldn't meet your expectations at this stage. Please feel free to raise a refund request directly with AppSumo, as they handle all refund processing.
Q: Does Each individual stock or Crypto (Ex. BTC, AAPL) count as 1 asset?
It is because I have pies (6-10 stocks, crypto and/or ETFs in each) in one account.
A: Yes, that's correct, each individual stock, crypto, or ETF (like BTC, AAPL, etc.) is counted as 1 asset, even if they’re all held within a single account or investment pie.
So if you have a pie with 10 holdings, that would count as 10 assets on the platform. Hope that helps!

Q: Which bank integrations does this work with?
Do you have a list of supported banks and do the integrations automatically update assets and liabilities?
