Komodo Decks was very simple to install and set up. This is a plus out of the gate. I see some reviews from Mac users who had problems - I have installed it on a Mac desktop and laptop, using both the web-based version and the Chrome extension, all with no issues.

The app is user-friendly - I like the option to record the screen, a browser window, or a tab, and the option to appear on camera or not. The quality of the video and the audio is excellent.

I haven't needed to use most of the editing features yet. I have trimmed videos and added annotations, and have also edited the guides - all these processes were also very simple to carry out.

The option to either include the guide or not is helpful, as sometimes the guide could be more distracting than helpful - especially with a short, instructional video.

Sharing the video via a link, or embedding it on a site is convenient, as is the ability to sort videos into folders. I also like that I get an email notification when the video is viewed.

The best part is that the developer is really responsive to ideas for improvement!
