Expectation is an important part of buying software. If people went in to Komodo Decks looking to edit parts of their recordings out whilst keeping the rest, then only Mac owners will be happy. But lets face it - that often happens (until companies come to their senses)

BUT if you are looking for a screenrecorder that gives you power beyond Loom or Berrycast but understand that this is the new kind on the block then Komodo deserves 10 taco's 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮

The commenting function speeds up communication like no other. For bug reports i just submitted my video and the developer sent back comments. They were happy to use it and I got back MUCH more relevant information. Seriously WHEN is a developer happy to talk to us clients?

The guides. These are great already and with some very important changes already gathered by this active team and in progress. Things like the ability to re-do a screenshot or crop an image and blur details after the video has been made. Where improvements are already in the roadmap are to allow you to have/not have the link to page which for password SAAS tools is useless and a distraction, we will be able to insert new steps (you can now easily delete and all the numbering shifts accordingly which for example does not happen on Minerva) and the quality of the screenshots,( miles better than Tango) means I would like to use them elsewhere - so a good way to export them for re-use is coming. And pdf exports are GREAT.

White labeling is not working perfectly yet, but their way of doing it is so very generous. If you whitelabel, they recreate the komodo homepage but stripping away Komodo mentions (which is absolutely not perfect yet) so you not only have cname but a landing page with content ready to go.

The video only embeds work flawlessly for me, also with mobile. They are working on how to get the guides included properly too

The product idea. This is not about recording your screen as much as it is about communicating with screen recordings. Which is why guides and commenting and transcripts (which I actually could not find) fit their model.

Simple things to improve
-Moving the camera and controls easily so they are not in the way of recording
-Using the screenshot in the guide as short-cut to access the correct point on the video (I had thought it was there but cannot see it now)
