Hi guys! I can't access some of the modules, it tells me that I have no access. And I can't even finish adding my competence because it counts them as profiles.

Is it like this how it works? I assumed first that the profiles counted would be the ones I'm the owner of. Am I wrong? or is this way how it works?

Gotcha!

The no. of profiles are a total of both, your own profiles (those you have the credentials for) and the competitor ones in which case, you can simply add the link. So for example, if you add your Facebook page, LinkedIn and Insta accounts and add the links for Twitter and FB for competitors, it will be counted as 5 profiles.

Wow wow, you got from really excited to very underwhelmed.

I bought tier 2 to test it out, and I dont want to post a review before learning from you your response.

1- The deal:

- You are counting google analytics as a social profile! Also for facebook ads, it is counted separately from the facebook page and instagram account.

- Competitors are counted as social profiles. I have never seen this in a tool with such limits.

I added facebook, instagram, facebook ads, google analytics and 1 competitors. and I am already down 5 profiles.

2- The tool:

Well, nothing is working for me

Google ads: I couldnt add the integration because I got this warning from google when attempting to connect:

"Google hasn’t verified this app

The app is requesting access to sensitive info in your Google Account. Until the developer (hitesh@prudencesoftware.com) verifies this app with Google, you shouldn't use it."

I added facebook and instagram, the tool did not pull anything except the number of followers that I have. apparently it does not collect historical data although you have access to my insights. So there is nothing to say here. (I waited for it to remove the warning that it is still collecting data).

Facebook Ads:

These are just very underwhelming reports. I run purchase campaigns, however your reports are mainly showing reach and impressions. It does not care for the campaign type, therefore I cant review my main KPIs.

Also the currency is displayed as INR while the account is actually US dollars.

Google analytics:

Incredibly basic data, that is available in google analytics. It mainly shows goal completions and I cant customize it to show ecommerce transactions since it is an ecommerce website.

So basically your standard reporting added 0 value to me so far and it cant be customized.

3- The dashboards:

Well, the dashboards are basically modules that I can add, that look nice but I cant customize them.

For example in google analytics, I can add the top traffic sources, but I cant adjust the chart to show them by revenue, I can only show them by traffic.

All in all, with a tool that has been out there for years, and I watched all of your videos and I was incredibly excited, to be just incredibly underwhelmed and not gaining any piece of insightful info.

Here is what I would propose in my opinion if this campaign would succeed among all of the tools that passed by appsumo.

1- Fix your bugs, your currency symbols, reports customization.

2- Fix your pricing, you cant count analytics as a profile (no one would pay $25 per month to have similar none customizable dashboards while data studio is free and the standard reporting in google analytics beats you)

Atleast, even if you keep the number of social profiles as they are

- Only count actual social profiles towards the limits (no ads account or analytics should count here)

- Do not count competitiors against the limits. (You can have separate limits for the competitors, for example 10 competitors per social profile (so tier 2, would have 15 owned social accounts, and 150 competitors to monitor)

- Perhaps add social listening to the tiers since apparently this is what you have and the main edge you may have, apply different limits for the different tiers (either by mention counts, or by number of monitors setup)

I will be looking forward to your reply on the points above, and please let us know how long the social analytics has been live because this seems like a beta product from what I encountered.

Thanks for your feedback.

I must admit that the GA and ads modules in our tool are added so they complement the other features that we offer. They are pretty basic in our product. Having said that, our team of analysts and product development are working towards making it better.

The other modules though such as insights for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn are the best and the competitor comparison module too. Also in a week’s time we are releasing a KISS (Konnect Insights smart suggestions) module which is excellent for reporting. We beta tested it with some our enterprise customers and they really loved it and I would love to hear your feedback too, once it is available. Here is how it works.

The complex insights are explained in simple English. Something like, because we did these many posts and we received so many engagement, we will achieve the following in the next one month and we will add so many fans, the most trending tweets in this period were ‘XYZ’ and we used it in 2 tweets, videos of 2 or more mins. receive maximum engagement, on weekends we post an avg. of 2 posts but we get more engagement on weekend posts compared to the weekdays post.

Regarding dashboards, you do have a lot of customization such as you can select various charts, drag / drop, reposition / resize and then go to chart settings and customize them. And you can also choose from various themes or create your own theme as per your brand colors. But as you mentioned it lacks the features for GA.

Our product has been live for over 5 years now and is being used by some major brands which you can check on the website. I would request you to try the FB, Insta, Twitter, etc. analytics to test it out and I am sure you will love it. Talking about the restrictions on how the profiles are counted, it is pretty much how other tools do it such as Sprout Social, Social Bakers or Hootsuite. We are just following the industry standards.
