Konvey Improves Business Communication with Everyone.

I've been using Konvey for a while now, and it's a great compliment for my business communication. It's super easy to use, letting me create quick videos for clients and team members. The flexibility to record screen, camera, or audio is excellent, and the quality of the videos is perfect and professional. It’s a nice replacement for Loom and while there is always a wish list of features, it is still perfect for my needs. It's helped me cut down on long emails and boring meetings, adding a personal touch to my communication. Definitely worth trying out!

Somehow it stopped working, and don't have system sound (very important!!)

I know that this sold out in AppSumo,
But do consider trying Konvey while knowing that system sound is not included (for editing and sharing some reviews it is very important to my agency!!), and they don't have speed management! That is so frustrating to see everything on 1.0X!!!!

I am very disappointed...

Regarding the issue of capturing system sound, this is indeed a browser-specific limitation. However, we have a workaround for you. Finally a replacement to Loom

Big fan of Konvey! It's a game-changer compared to Loom, for sure. The screen sharing is top-notch—you can move your video box anywhere, so it never blocks your content. Super glad I made the switch!

Lots of problems - viewers can't see video, can't record, videos lost.

I was really excited to get Konvey and have a reliable alternative to paying for a service like Loom. Yes, it's not as smooth, but I can deal with that to avoid the monthly cost.

However early on my video wasn't viewable by someone using a PC and then someone using Apple devices. The PC user later could see the video but not sure why the glitch happened. I have been emailing the developer back and forth since Feb about this. He assured me that they were working on things but today I went in to make another video and now the video won't upload and all my other videos are just gone. I am hoping there's a resolution and I can consider changing my review later if there is, but this is a very bad situation now.

Good basis, but there is still a lot missing!

The idea of simply allowing others to make recordings in various ways without additional software or an extra login is great!
I could also imagine letting selected users make usability screen recordings.

The fact that you can upload your own videos and record them yourself is also good, but it's not really a big deal!
The embedding of your own videos works well and the videos load quickly, but unfortunately the player is still very simple and rudimentary. The whole thing is still a long way from Loom!

There is still a lot of work to be done - on a large scale (e.g. good analytics for all videos and also per video, video edit function, a flexible video landing page, AI at some point also for quick evaluation of video requests, testimonials collection or wall of love) or also many many details on a small scale (e.g. your own logo is displayed distorted, a completely unrealistic and atypical resolution of only 360p is preselected and if the user re-records a recording, he has to make the settings again(!).

In addition, the GDPR issues (storage location, possibly DPA, consent banner, own legal links in a footer of the recording page, etc.) do not seem to me to have been completely clarified and worked through yet.

I hope for committed, serious and, above all, continuous further development, then Konvey could perhaps become a really big thing...
