I have had many issues with the software. Specifically around browsers. I use Brave, which should work with any Chrome extension or plugin. In addition, I uploaded a video - shared it with a business group, and it was an error and the video was not showing. Then when support responded that the video was up, it was not my video, it was a another persons video and thier voice, not mine.
I understand that when dev are starting out that are many things to deal with, and I have compassion around that.
But my request is to have the basics down before launching.

Well, way to upset a client Joe.
You should check with your team first, because Jerry already confirmed my custom domain settings were correctly configured. And your response is terrible(not the word I wanted to use), because you keep saying is my error with incorrect configuration.
I already set it as the primary domain to use for recordings.
The A record has been added CORRECTLY!!!
Also, I am not going to share my account access, I don't feel comfortable with that and I shouldn't have to share it in the first place.
My videos keep getting overwritten by the last recording.
And I keep have the recurring issue where the videos are replaced by other peoples videos on their accounts.
Next time I'll reach out to them to see if they are comfortable with me having access to them.
Take responsibility for your product and stop blaming me for your issues. Again, I am not the only one having them.

I got Konvey for the obvious reasons, as well as for the video request feature, all that, unlimited storage, videos and request all made it very attractive.
But... I'm facing some serious issues that make it unusable.
First I configured my custom domain, but it's still not used as the primary and all my videos are reverted to the dashboard.konvey.com domain url.
I also have recieved other peoples videos in my dashboard, they have been recorded over my videos, and my videos have been overwritten to one video. So it took place of like 4-5 videos.
Support is alright, but if the issues are persisting then they aren't fixing it correctly.
I haven't even tried some of the other features like the embedding, but that sucks to think that it probably won't work.
The closed captions aren't working, and they shouldn't be available to try if they aren't.
Seems like the list could go on and on, so I'll wait till November 10th when my refund date expires to see if it's worth keeping or not.
I have Sendspark which is great, but Konvey actually performed better with the browser plugin where Sendspark has been having trouble.
Hopeful to see some significant progress with Konvey, if not I'll have to use my credits somewhere else.

I had hope...
I really had high hopes of using this, but...no, it's failing.
Here are the problems I have run into:
(1) The video embed code isn't working on my website
(2) When I download my video to my laptop (Macbook) the mp4 file isn't reading in quicktime or even on my phone
(3) When using the link to share the video via text or email, the video does NOT open. The message just says: "Loading video...please wait while we prepare your video" and keeps spinning the circle.
(4) The video will not play on my phone, no matter what I use to open the mp4 file it will not play
(5) When trying to record using screen and video there is a message about failed to connect in both Safari and Chrome (although it has all permissions).
(6) While support will respond, in my time (CST) that's 24-48 hours later...I have work to do.
With that being said, I'm going to wait this out for a few days and hope that they will get this right before I initiate a refund.

I am sorry to hear you encountered the issues as you mentioned. However, I can confirm that video embed code is working fine, and maybe you have not embed it well on your website.
While it is hard to understand why mp4 format will not play on your laptop or phone as videos download in mp4 format, could you please confirm that the video is playing on your Konvey account...

Email support and replies was terrible in complete meeting to see issue. poor to no reponse. Also security issue with other peoples video show up in my dashboard

Meanwhile, I remember asking for a convenient time for us to schedule a call but no time was stated. We even offered to connect on Teams for faster reach but you said you do NOT like using Teams.

Unfortunately NOT For Us...
We tried it but we're unable to view any of our short test videos and given it was our 3rd screen recording LTD tested today we were NOT going to put much effort into figuring out. Intuitive use is a must for us and the tools we buy. Which is really to say this was probably operator error, aka all our fault.
We'd just gotten off a chat with another tools team, which didn't work for us either so we just went with a different recommended tool on an annual plan.
We won't give it a 1 cuz that's not fair (in our mind) but hard to give it a 3 when it didn't work out of the box for us. The Ui could use some work but the tool was otherwise easy to navigate. You should still give it a try if you need screen recording and maybe it'll work for you!
We've won enough in the LTD game buying from AppSumo to not be bummed by this and wish the team and tool well.
