From upset to LIVID with Konvey!

Well, way to upset a client Joe.
You should check with your team first, because Jerry already confirmed my custom domain settings were correctly configured. And your response is terrible(not the word I wanted to use), because you keep saying is my error with incorrect configuration.
I already set it as the primary domain to use for recordings.
The A record has been added CORRECTLY!!!
Also, I am not going to share my account access, I don't feel comfortable with that and I shouldn't have to share it in the first place.
My videos keep getting overwritten by the last recording.
And I keep have the recurring issue where the videos are replaced by other peoples videos on their accounts.
Next time I'll reach out to them to see if they are comfortable with me having access to them.
Take responsibility for your product and stop blaming me for your issues. Again, I am not the only one having them.
I don't like you at all right now.

I got Konvey for the obvious reasons, as well as for the video request feature, all that, unlimited storage, videos and request all made it very attractive.
But... I'm facing some serious issues that make it unusable.
First I configured my custom domain, but it's still not used as the primary and all my videos are reverted to the dashboard.konvey.com domain url.
I also have recieved other peoples videos in my dashboard, they have been recorded over my videos, and my videos have been overwritten to one video. So it took place of like 4-5 videos.
Support is alright, but if the issues are persisting then they aren't fixing it correctly.
I haven't even tried some of the other features like the embedding, but that sucks to think that it probably won't work.
The closed captions aren't working, and they shouldn't be available to try if they aren't.
Seems like the list could go on and on, so I'll wait till November 10th when my refund date expires to see if it's worth keeping or not.
I have Sendspark which is great, but Konvey actually performed better with the browser plugin where Sendspark has been having trouble.
Hopeful to see some significant progress with Konvey, if not I'll have to use my credits somewhere else.

Sep 30, 2025Hello Isaac, thank you for sharing this feedback. I am sorry to hear you are having the issues you mentioned. If there is one thing I know is working perfectly well, it is Konvey custom domain feature.
Please make sure you have done the setup correctly at your end in the server area. Here is what I mean, when you add custom domain to Konvey, go create A record in your service and point to the Konvey IP, and this instruction is there.
Also, once this is done, make sure to mark that custom domain as your default for recordings.
Once you have done this correctly, you will be able to make your recordings on that custom domain. This has NEVER had any issue at all so any issue encountered will definitely be from incorrect configuration of the A record or NOT marking the domain as your default after correct configuration.
But here is the main, I will like to help you get this working well for you. So please, send us a message via support@konvey.app with the custom domain in question and we will be able to check if you added this correctly in our system and we proceed from there to guide you on what you need to do at hosting end to get things working perfectly.
Note: The video override issue is long fixed. And the embed code is working correctly, please try embed on your website and share the experience.
