A great idea similar to Frase and Zimmwriter, but still have work to do
To start, know that I use most of the writing tools that were available on Appsumo like Rytr, Nichess, Frase, Contentpace, Shopia, name it..
Most of my requirements for an AI writer are to be able to get good content in the region I want to write. For instance, I mostly use French-Canadian as a language. Many of the tools I use have the option to choose French and then the Canadian Search Engine.
However, Kopify seems to lack this option and/or is buggy. Don't get me wrong it's one of the best SaaS I used so far and have so much potential.
What I liked :
- Ability to create a custom workflow from Outline to full blog post
- The templates are kinda basic, but the output is often more relevant than other software.
- Possibility to organize in folders
- Good output for SERP and AI-generated content
What I think could be improved / bug/issues:
- It's slow. I don't know if it's me but sometimes it takes more than 10 minutes to generate a full blog post. (i don't mind, but when the loading bar doesn't move for several minutes, I get stressed).
- Problem with AI generating content in other languages. I tried to create an outline in French and it gave me everything in English except the keyword so it was like: What are the many uses of a couteau de poche.
- Another bug I faced is the output via ChatGPT 4 which gave me this error on each section of the outline. "Something went wrong"
For now, it's really just the surface, I'll update the review once I get positive results for what I need.
Kopify
May 9, 2024Hi there,
Thank you so much for your detailed review and feedback.
We'd love to clarify a few things that might help improve your experience with Kopify:
1. The main reason you received an outline/headings in English is that we recommend giving all of your inputs in English to the AI so that Open AI can generate better results.
What happens in our backend is that Kopify sends a request to Open AI, which then generates an output (in English) and if any other language is chosen than English, then Kopify will send the generated output to our translation API. This then results in the content being sent back to you in different languages.
2. As for GPT 4 not working - unfortunately, this isn't a bug on our end. Currently GPT 4 only works if you have already got access to the GPT 4 API by Open AI.
Could you please confirm that you have gained access to the GPT 4 API by Open AI? If not, that might be the reason you are seeing these issues come up!
Again thank you for taking the time out of your day and providing us with such helpful feedback - we really appreciate it!
