A: Thanks for the thoughtful question. Unfortunately, we have decided to not offer that capability. We debated it internally, but felt if would pose too many problems. Mostly, the layout for menus need to be changed for the horizontal view and flipping the entire UI when changing from one to the other would be problematic. Once the change is made, we think people will find it just as intuitive as the vertical structure.

A: If you assign a KPI to a member they will be able to edit their values. They will need a Creator or Champion license to do that. You can invite Member from the bottom left of the app. The alerts are set as monthly, but we are adding the Targets can be weekly so the alerts will then also be weekly. Alerts can be via email or at login

A: 1) Yes, if you go to the My KPIs tab, you can select History to see progress over time for each KPI. The load is slow but it works. 2) Yes, Creator can build unlimited Kartas. Yes, users who are asked to input their values need a Creator or Champion license. 3) Sorry, but currently we need to input values manually or via CSV. No immediate plans for auto-import.
A: That will be possible with the new release in a few weeks. We will be switching the hierarchy to be horizantal instead of vertical which means labels will no longer be truncated. Hi The first buyer of a Creator becomes the Administrator, and only that person can invite and manage other users. Others can also create Kartas if they have a Creator license and can then assign KPIs to other team members, but they needs to first be on the system. An invited team member will be assigned either a Creator, Champion or Spectator license.
If you purhcase 3 separate AS licenses, each for a separate company, then each license can invite other users for any type of license. That's becuase they are each an Admin. If you want to buy 3 for the same company, then only the first will be Admin and only that person can invite others.
We would like to buy 3 for the same company, so should we just activite one license first? and then how does the other team members use the two AS licenses when I invite them to join? It would be very helpful for more more information on the process.
When a second Creator license or a Champion license is added to the same company, it will go directly through our normal subscription service and not through AppSumo. I need to find out from AppSumo what I am able to charge you for it. I have asked them, so please stay tuned.

A: Hi This is possible now. Any sales and marketing performance metric can be identified and tracked using KPI Karta. It's not industry specific, so HR and recruitment works well. You could set your KRAs as a layer in the Karta and then filter down to KPIs such as Offer acceptance rate, Time to fill, Time to hire, Turnover rate and so on.

As you know Appsumo is all about lifetime deals and this is only for the creator. If you add your team you're going to have to pay monthly for each additional user over above the creator. Is this correct?
A: Yes, only Creator is part of this deal. But the other licenses are inexpensive. Champion license is required for users who need to manually update their KPI values. That costs $6/ month per user, or $59 per year. Alternatively, you could import users KPI values using the CSV import function. That way your Karta will be updated and you don’t need that Champion license. There is also Spectator, which is free, and allows anyone you want to see the Kartas.
A: Hi KPIs are in all departments. Although we have focused on Sales and Marketing becuase they have lots of metrics and transactions to track, customer service is also an excellent area. You have the ability to change the names of the layers to meet your needs. Pretty much everyone does that since all companies are unique. The principle when using KPI Karta remains the same; you would start by defininig your overall goal and then what critical (Critical Success Factors (CSF)) things you need to do to accomplish that. Then you identify things in more detail until you reach actionable and measurable activities or metrics. Another client used it for Customer Service and the system made several suggestions for Goals, but she settled on "Expand service range". She then selected CSF of "Innovative service models" and "Leveraging technology". The next layer is the stage your marketing effort is in, but you can create your own layer such as product type you are supporting or for which type of client and so on. The next layer is the persona of the client you are dealing with. you can either leave that blank or fill it in. When you get to measurable items you could include: Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) Net Promoter Score (NPS) Customer Effort Score (CES) % First Contact Resolution (FCR) Average Response Time Customer Churn Rate Customer Retention Rate Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) Interactions per Ticket

This is possible now. Any sales and marketing performance metric can be identified and tracked using KPI Karta. It's not industry specific, so HR and recruitment works well. You could set your KRAs as a layer in the Karta and then filter down to KPIs such as Offer acceptance rate, Time to fill, Time to hire, Turnover rate and so on.

Agencies and consultants use KPI Karta to illustrate to customers why they are implementing certain strategic initiatives and why specific activities are important by showing how they align to the stated goal.

Jan 6, 2025A: At this time, we don’t have an integration to various data sources. That is something we want to add, but we have not found a cost-effective way of doing that yet.

Q: What about additional users?
As you know Appsumo is all about lifetime deals and this is only for the creator. If you add your team you're going to have to pay monthly for each additional user over above the creator. Is this correct?

Jan 6, 2025A: Yes, only Creator is part of this deal. But the other licenses are inexpensive. Champion license is required for users who need to manually update their KPI values. That costs $6/ month per user, or $59 per year. Alternatively, you could import users KPI values using the CSV import function. That way your Karta will be updated and you don’t need that Champion license. There is also Spectator, which is free, and allows anyone you want to see the Kartas.

KPIs are in all departments. Although we have focused on Sales and Marketing becuase they have lots of metrics and transactions to track, customer service is also an excellent area. You have the ability to change the names of the layers to meet your needs. Pretty much everyone does that since all companies are unique.
The principle when using KPI Karta remains the same; you would start by defininig your overall goal and then what critical (Critical Success Factors (CSF)) things you need to do to accomplish that. Then you identify things in more detail until you reach actionable and measurable activities or metrics.
Another client used it for Customer Service and the system made several suggestions for Goals, but she settled on "Expand service range". She then selected CSF of "Innovative service models" and "Leveraging technology". The next layer is the stage your marketing effort is in, but you can create your own layer such as product type you are supporting
or for which type of client and so on. The next layer is the persona of the client you are dealing with. you can either leave that blank or fill it in. When you get to measurable items you could include:
Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)
Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Customer Effort Score (CES)
% First Contact Resolution (FCR)
Average Response Time
Customer Churn Rate
Customer Retention Rate
Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)
Interactions per Ticket
There are likely lots of others you can think of.
