That's actually a good question!
It would really be a bad way of doing business if we didn't allow AppSumo users to upgrade to higher tiers should they need it. So of course we will enable it. Also, you would only the difference between the plans, with a big % discount applied. I'm currently unsure what this discount will be, but we will surely offer it.

Thanks for that, although perhaps I didn't ask my question very well, because I'm still not 100% clear on my options.
I'm interested in this deal because it is a lifetime offer. If I buy say, the single plan now at USD59, and then discover 6 months down the track that I need more queries, can I, at that time, switch to the double plan at USD118 for a once-off payment of the difference? (i.e. USD60)?
Or is the "deep discount" you're talking about a discount on a different plan that is not part of this offer, and would instead be an ongoing pay-by-the-month plan?

I'm sorry, but I don't think that this is something that we will do. We have this extended lifetime deal now, but I don't think we will have a lifetime deal again. Sorry :)
