their support is non existent, i have an issue with activating 4 codes and they simply dont activate them after i've asked 8 days ago. so, if you use krisp in any regard, prepare to be screwed at any time

As a long-time user of Krisp, I have recently been disappointed with the direction the software has taken and find myself needing to provide a one-star review. While Krisp was once a solid, reliable tool for my calls, the recent changes have left me frustrated and forced me to reconsider its value.
The latest update came as a surprise to me, as it removed several features that I used frequently and found very useful. The virtual background option was a beneficial feature for me, as it helped maintain a professional image during video calls when my real background was less than ideal. The removal of this feature has significantly impacted my ability to maintain the level of professionalism I strive for during my calls.
Moreover, the recording feature was a crucial aspect of my use of Krisp. As a professional who frequently has important video calls, the ability to record these calls for later reference was an invaluable function. Now, after the update, this feature is no longer available. The loss of this feature has negatively impacted my workflow and forced me to seek other tools for recording my calls, thus adding additional steps and complications to my process.
Another frustrating change with the new update is the introduction of the meeting notes and transcripts feature, which currently only supports the English language. As an Italian speaker, the majority of my video calls are conducted in Italian, rendering this new feature essentially useless to me. The lack of support for other languages, particularly one as widely spoken as Italian, is a significant oversight in my opinion.
Furthermore, I was disappointed with the company's stance on these changes. When I reached out to Krisp's support team to express my concerns, I was told that the old features I relied on had been discontinued and would not be returning. I was also informed that while other languages might be supported in the future, there was no guarantee or timeline for this.
In conclusion, while I was once a satisfied user of Krisp, the recent changes to the software have left me disappointed and inconvenienced. The removal of key features and the lack of support for languages other than English in the new features have significantly diminished the value of Krisp for me. I am left with no choice but to seek alternative tools that better meet my needs. It's regrettable that a software that once seemed to be on the right track has taken such a disappointing turn.
Great product, downgraded my account after 8 months
I purchased this deal and found it really works well. I've used it constantly since I am doing a lot of online meetings and it truly filters out all the background noise - in other words, it works as advertised. The problem is that 8 months after purchasing the lifetime deal, they downgraded my account to the free account which limits you to 120 minutes per week, which is insufficient for my needs. Multiple attempts to contact their customer support get, at most, an automated reply, but nothing more than that. I understand that support can take a while, but when you get no response after a week or more, I'd say that the customer service is poor. I'm not sure whether they downgraded all AppSumo customers or there is just an issue with my account, but with no repsonse from customer service, there is no way to know for sure. It's too bad, as this is really an awesome product.
Very happy with the purchase !! I do Lives from my office which is near to a busy road. Krisp cancels 95% of the Noise and It really matters a lot in lives and also in client meeting calls !! Love the purchase !! Worth Investing in.
