I make YouTube videos and live in an apartment where there are 3 young children living above me. This is a game changer for me. The fact that I can run a fan or the AC and still record is awesome as well.

I did a bunch of short test recordings and they weren't perfect, but were good enough for me.

I noticed if I tapped the desk where the microphone was the noise wouldn't cancel out. Everything else I did for the most part canceled out though, including clapping, snapping fingers, a fan being on, AC running, ect.

I feel as if it almost takes a few seconds to get used to your voice speaking, kind as if it is deciphering which is the one it shouldn't cancel out, and it picks up more of the background noise initially then gets rid of it entirely.

I'm very happy with it. It isn't perfect from what I've seen, but it's well worth the $39 for me.
