Disappointed that Krisp has downgraded Appsumer users
My comment is the same as previous users. It's disappointing that the lifetime access has been downgraded.
I understand Krisp's response and don't need them to reiterate the same response again. Rather, I would like a response from someone regarding the principles of how users purchasing lifetime access to software on AppSumo works.
I think @bibelot explains the concern well, normally when we sign up to AppSumo software, part of the gamble of buying an early product is that we assume it's going to get better over time. If it was going to stay static, it would completely change the calculation as to whether to bother buying it or not. As such, it's reasonable for users to expect software to add new features - that's the whole point. We're putting in money into software that we hope and expect to improve over time, and for that to be part of the lifetime benefit of early signup. It's disappointing that Krisp are not adhering to this principle, which is quite fundamental to how AppSumo works.
To be clear - and to make sure that this is a fair review of Krisp - the product is really great, albeit lacking some features those are common nowadays.

While our Noise Cancellation feature (which you purchased) remains fully available, we recognize the broader concern about feature growth and customer trust.
We're actively working on ways to better support our early adopters and appreciate candid feedback like yours.
Thanks for taking the time to share your perspective.
Best,
