What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?
Throughout my career, I’ve worked on several projects at the intersection of tech, marketing, and AI. Some of my biggest learnings have come from both wins and setbacks.
Successes:
One of my notable successes is building and growing digital products that solve real business problems. Before Kubrix, I led the development of AI-driven solutions for companies in banking and enterprise sectors, helping automate complex workflows and enhance customer engagement. These projects gave me deep experience in deploying AI at scale and reinforced my passion for building products that create measurable value.
Failures:
Like many founders, I’ve had projects that didn’t go as planned. Earlier in my career, I launched a SaaS product that lacked strong product-market fit. We built a great tool, but without a clear understanding of our core customer’s needs, we struggled with traction. It was a humbling experience, but it taught me the importance of validating ideas early and building with direct customer feedback.
Overall:
Each success and failure has shaped how I approach Kubrix — focusing on user feedback, iterating quickly, and solving real-world pain points.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?
The idea for Kubrix.ai came from a personal pain point I experienced as both a marketer and content creator. I noticed how time-consuming and resource-heavy it was to create engaging short-form videos, especially for social media. Every campaign required multiple tools, designers, and editors — which often slowed down production and limited creativity.
I wanted to create something that could break this bottleneck. That’s when the idea for Kubrix was born: a platform where anyone could type an idea and instantly generate high-quality, social-ready videos without the typical headaches of video production. We wanted to empower marketers and creators to move fast and create content that actually drives results.
I’m passionate about Kubrix because I’ve seen first-hand how powerful video can be for connecting with audiences, building brands, and driving growth — but I’ve also seen how intimidating and expensive video creation can be for many people.
What problem is your product solving and how?
Kubrix solves the biggest challenge in modern content marketing: creating engaging short-form videos quickly and consistently.
Most businesses and creators struggle with:
Limited time and resources for video production
The complexity of using multiple tools (editing software, stock libraries, subtitle generators, etc.)
A lack of creative expertise or technical know-how to produce professional-grade videos
The constant demand for fresh content to keep up with social media algorithms
Kubrix eliminates these hurdles by providing an all-in-one, AI-powered platform that automates video creation from start to finish.
With Kubrix, users simply type their idea or paste their script, and our AI:
Generates a fully-edited video with dynamic visuals, text overlays, and music
Adds auto-subtitles and smooth transitions
Suggests video formats optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Supports multiple languages for global reach
By streamlining the viral video creation process into just a few clicks, Kubrix helps users save time, cut costs, and consistently produce content that drives engagement and results.
What’s the #1 thing you’re looking to gain from the AppSumo campaign?
The #1 thing we’re looking to gain from this AppSumo campaign is early community-driven growth and feedback.
We want to introduce Kubrix to a passionate group of creators, marketers, and entrepreneurs who will not only benefit from our tool but also help us refine and improve it. The AppSumo community is known for giving valuable, actionable feedback, and we’re eager to use that insight to sharpen Kubrix’s features, enhance user experience, and better serve our target audience.
At the same time, we aim to build lasting relationships with early adopters who can grow with us, become brand advocates, and help shape the future direction of the platform.
What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?
Our plan is to reinvest the cash and insights gained from the AppSumo campaign directly into product development, customer success, and scaling.
Customers
We want to turn our AppSumo customers into long-term partners. We’ll be actively listening to their feedback to improve Kubrix’s features, fine-tune the user experience, and expand integrations based on their needs. We also plan to build a private community where early adopters can share ideas, get direct support, and access exclusive updates.
Cash
The revenue from this campaign will be funneled into:
Enhancing our AI engine and video templates
Growing our development and support teams
Launching additional features like team collaboration, branded templates, and deeper analytics.
Learnings
We’ll use this campaign to validate our roadmap, learn what features matter most to customers, and fine-tune our onboarding experience. We’re also keen on understanding how different segments (agencies, solo creators, startups) are using Kubrix so we can tailor future updates more effectively.
Ultimately, this campaign will be the foundation for building a customer-first product and community around Kubrix.
Any details to clarify about the deal?
Each video only eats one video credit. 1 video credit is valid for a 1 minute video. Script generation is completely free and does not eat credits.
